Viewing art can boost well-being by giving meaning to life. It may help strengthen feelings of meaning, personal growth, and identity, making it a potentially low-cost tool for mental health support.

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

🎉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HOUSTON! 🎂🤘
On August 30, 1836, the city of Houston was founded, and 190 years later, there’s still no place quite like it. ❤️
From our rich history to the people, places, and possibilities shaping what’s next, here’s to 190 years of Houston and the many more to come! 🥳🎉

The 2026–2027 school bus routes are now available through the Fort Bend ISD Bus Route Locator! Families can find their student’s route by entering their home address at fortbendisd.gov/BusRouteLoca….
Please note: Routes are still being updated, so families are encouraged to check back before the first day of school to confirm the most accurate information.
We can’t wait to welcome our students back for another exciting year of learning, growth and success!
Loved seeing @ArtTeacherMsV teach PD on Portraits. 💥🎉👏🏼 I need all the practice I can get! 🤭 @FBISDFineArts
Best ever Fine Arts PD!
@HolkupGene was entirely heartfelt. Moving, uplifting, & since it was my last class, a beautiful way to end the sessions. Felt 'seen' and not just talked at this week. Thanks to everyone who put time into this. @FBISDFineArts @MrsLev_Art @theartsydragon
