I wound up meeting with a Director who came in huffing and puffing.

In GA4 we add payment gateways to unwanted referrals. The UA feature Filter Domain Referrals (= no new session) is gone in GA4. Problem: purchases are attributed to referral/direct. GA4 cracks @Wrodarczyk @brie_e_anderson @EinsteinMimi @kristaseiden @rustybrick what am I missing?
From the UA-Documentation: "Filters remove the hits from your traffic stream, so no sessions from those hits will be recorded. Referral exclusion, on the other hand, treats hits that are referred from the excaluded sources as direct traffic."
