The deeper I dig into the Japanese Yen cash and carry trade the crazier it gets. They literally printed money and gave it away interest free so people could invest it in the global economy. They literally propped up every single world market with the money they were printing out of thin air. Every other country turned a blind eye to it because their markets and debt were being bought! When most countries stopped investing in Japan, Japan just printed more and bought up over 80% of the entire ETF market locally as well as nearly 10% of the stock market. This is bizarre. A large portion of world markets have literally been pushed up by one country printing money uncontrollably and lending it for free. How did inflation not happen sooner? How did this whole thing not collapse sooner! I don’t see this thing doesn’t collapse in the next 12 months…..
