Trump does nothing. Jensen getting honey potted by a PRC spy. Trump knew and did nothing
The story keeps getting crazier. To recap everything that has been reported so far: - The US intelligence community discovered that Jensen Huang, the CEO of the largest company in the world, was sleeping with Alice Huang, a Chinese spy and an executive at Megaspeed. (FT) - Multiple independent investigations have concluded that Megaspeed is likely a Chinese cutout, which helps Chinese companies access AI chips or circumvent export controls. (NYT and Bloomberg) - The US intelligence community also concluded that Alice Huang’s goal was to convince Jensen to lobby the U.S. government to loosen export controls on advanced AI chips. (NYT) - The intelligence community relayed this information to “a small group of top US government officials” earlier this year. (FT) - Over the last year, Jensen Huang has repeatedly lobbied the U.S. government to loosen export controls on advanced chips. @BISgov has done so, not only by permitting the export of H200 chips to China, but also not enforcing export controls that would have required a license for exports of the most advanced Blackwell chips to Megaspeed and Southeast Asia. - Although @CommerceGov leadership was presumably briefed on this information by the U.S. intelligence community, @BISgov has taken no actions to tighten controls on Megaspeed or Southeast Asia. - Megaspeed remains a preferred cloud partner of Nvidia, and continues to receive Nvidia Blackwell chips despite employing a Chinese spy who reportedly is romantically engaged with the CEO of Nvidia. - Tens of billions of dollars worth of AI chips have been exported to Southeast Asia this year alone, and Malaysia and Singapore are now two of the four largest importers of AI chips in the world. What is going on here??? We need answers. The question of who gets the most advanced AI chips in the world is literally the defining strategic question of our time. And not only does it seem like the MSS may be directly influencing the debate on export controls in the United States, but also @CommerceGov is refusing to listen to the warnings of the IC on this issue. What is a POSSIBLE good explanation for why Megaspeed is still receiving chips? Why is there not a license requirement for AI chip shipments to all of Southeast Asia? This is beyond strange at this point. The fallout from this story will be massive. Obviously, the motivations underpinning Nvidia’s policy views opposing export controls must now all be questioned. But also, how did @BISgov sit on this information and has still taken no actions? We need answers.

"I don’t want Jared Kushner to be investigated because he’s the president’s son-in-law. I want him investigated because he’s potentially laundered and embezzled $2 billion dollars in funds from the governments of Saudi Arabia and the UAE. I don’t want Stephen Miller investigated because he’s a racist ghoul who’s at the center of the Trump brain trust. I want him investigated because he’s a racist ghoul who has violated the due-process rights of millions of people and, potentially, directly violated court orders. I don’t want Pete Hegseth investigated because he’s a toxic psychopath who is unqualified to lead America’s military forces. I want him investigated because he’s a fucking murderer who needs to spend the rest of his life in jail, either in this country or The Hague." thenation.com/article/politi…

No power all day here in Dnipro, two weeks of that well-known humanitarian Putin bombing our power station. In the same week the UN inquiry found Russia’s attacks on our grid were crimes against humanity. This week, Trump met Putin’s envoy at the White House. What a shitshow……

We should really try trickle-up economics for a while. I mean unlike the wealthy, the poor won’t horde money, they will actually spend it to eat & live, which will help stimulate the economy.

Corporate oligarchy
James Talarico traces 50 years of trickle-down back to one 1971 document, the Powell memo, a corporate blueprint to buy power “In fact, you can, you can pinpoint this one document called the Powell memo, 1971.” “But if you read this memo, it's basically a blueprint for how corporate interests can start to dismantle the Great Society and the New Deal” “They're going to spend massive amounts of money in our politics, buying politicians in both parties, elevate corporate voices in media, appoint sympathetic judges.” “And that has really been the story of the last 50 years in this country, last five decades.” w/ @jamestalarico

While we have your attention, when are you coming in to testify under oath about covering up the Epstein files? Or are you too scared to come in?

America elected America.
From housing insecurity to Congress in just 10 years, @LaKeshaWomack tells @Timodc how her own struggles shaped her priorities: “I know what it’s like when...you’re in that missing middle where you make too much money to get help, but not enough money to get ahead.”

Good advice if you want the next Dem president to have a 60 seat senate majority
Congratulations to the new Chief of Staff, @StephenM. Double down on the agenda. Too many people are demanding a change to tough policies because they were unpopular in the midterms. That’s foolish and cowardly. The short term unpopularity of a policy does not make the policy wrong. The President’s priority should be long term benefits (like an Iran without a nuke), not short term popularity.

Unleash the Kraken - how'd that go for Sidney Powell?
🇺🇸 RFK Jr. revives QAnon-linked “KRAKEN” slogan to celebrate Miller's Chief of Staff promotion Kennedy praised Stephen Miller as one of the biggest MAHA supporters in the administration, declaring it was time to “UNLEASH THE KRAKEN.” The phrase became popular among QAnon followers after Sidney Powell used it to push false claims of widespread fraud in the 2020 election. The White House appears focused on keeping Trump's most loyal supporters fired up after the midterm losses. A QAnon resurgence could quickly breathe new life into Trump's dwindling personality cult. Maga are such terrible losers. If they don’t win it’s rigged! They controlled the trifecta of govt of most of the biggest surprises. They obviously never played sports as kids with tough coaches who taught them how to lose gracefully
Kornacki seems to be implying that Colom will win MS-Sen when it’s all said and done.
