Looks like Linktree is allowed again, so here's mine - social media, Amazon wishlist, etc. You'll probably not use it, but it's nice to have it all in one place!

Glad my new Tourettes advisory card came today, though I wish I'd had it for comic con yesterday. Luckily, tics weren't too bad as I was among people who shared my hobby & were welcoming.
Didn't stop me coming out with contextual vocal tics such as "Avengers assemble!", "Pew pew!" and singing "dinner dinner dinner Batman!"
One of the highlights at MCM Comic-Con yesterday was meeting up with @MoonsTrashCos! It's always lovely to say hi to a friend from Twitter in real life ๐
Now, I freely confess to being a bit of a camera whore when it comes to getting my pic taken in costume - it comes from the fact people often aren't interested in disabled cosplays.
So when I realise it took nearly an hour and a half to get from one end of the event hall to the other due to folks wanting selfies and solo shots, it leaves me crazy happy. I get tired of disabled cosplayers being ignored (though that's waaay rarer at cons) so to be flying the flag for us and also boosting my self-esteem is a win-win!
I have caved twice upon returning home. First, I put the heating on, a 10 mile drive across a very chilly London in the gathering dark and a 1 hour delay on a cold train platform has left me chilled to the bone.
Second, I've ordered my first takeaway in 2 months. Kept it relatively healthy with a turkey and ham sub on wholemeal bread, and packed it full of veg. Figure I owe myself those two concessions!
My finger is killing me - I didn't realise I'd been operating the brakes with one finger all round the convention! Hope a chug of codeine lessens the quite considerable pain ๐
On the way to MCM Comic-Con in London after a stupidly early start (forgot the clocks went back, lol!)
Tics today have been fairly infrequent, and more vocal than physical - which is better as it means less body and facial aches.
Still coming out oddly though - "talk about mudflaps, my girls got 'em", and "big bottom, big bottom"
This is Spinal Tic, I guess.
The old "MS Hug" has really got me in its grip this evening. My intercostal muscles have a mind of their own, pretty sure they want to squeeze me till I pop!
Can't sleep because the strong winds are blowing through the corridors of my block and making the front door rattle and slam!
Really excited about doing MCM Comic-Con this Sunday - I'll be building up my energy reserves for 48 hours beforehand and have ensured I don't have anything to do for a couple of days after go recuperate, MS dictating those essential behaviours.
My last chance to do London convention this year, and to properly deploy Ghost Rider at a big event!
Just had my health checkup at the docs, good to know there's no issues. Wheeled 2.38 miles as well, getting there and back!
I've not been able to go out wearing this tee without someone complimenting me on it. I mean, every single time (I started counting after a while ๐)
For some reason I've started putting "Alexa.." as a prefix to my vocal tics. She's getting very confused.
Just watched "The Experiment" on @Channel4 with
@sophmorgTV and @mat_fraser. Thought it was good, and I'd recommend it for a watch. I confess that being #disabled myself gives a particular viewpoint, as I've studied Nazi philosophy toward us, and the events of the Aktion T4 project.
I want to be surprised that it took so long for some of the visitors to the "SegriLife" centre to realise how shockingly cruel it was, but I can't. So much of the narrative today was reflected in the propaganda, and that showed in the reactions of the visitors in the tour of the faux care centre.
The problem is that no-one watching it will be the kind of person who espouses the idea that disabled people are second class citizens, and a burden on the state. You can point out the alarming direction in which attitudes toward we disabled are growing dangerously close to Nazi ideologies, but you can't use a programme they won't watch to change their minds.
Still, we must fight on, because not many are willing to help us.

Trump says our children go to school and "come home with a sex change" when in reality our children go to school and come home in a body bag because Republicans think everyone should own an AR-15
I think my spellchecker on here may be a bit bonkers - if I try to type "whenever" and start mucking it up, it suggests "quarter gerbil". I've never used that phrase so I think it may be losing it.
I ache, therefore I am - but it's a good ache after strenuous travelling on the Batec. Over to Brighton, grabbed some new PJ's for winter at Primark, and had an hour relaxing and reading my book with a (non-alcoholic) drink in the sun on the Pier.
Side note - I finished my third book in 10 days, I'm devouring the Dresden Files series for the second (or possibly third) time. Highly recommend the books if you like a fantasy/detective genre!
