An interesting thread explaining how the cashmere industry works.
HOW TO BUY A GOOD CASHMERE SWEATER 🧵 I want to address this comment left by someone in response to my Brick Watch Company tweet. It also gets into something I've been wanting to talk about: how to buy a good cashmere sweater.

Norton really good here on John Cleese, telling him that ‘cancel culture’ is just accountability, and JK Rowling, suggesting that the media talk directly to trans teens and their parents rather than merely amplifying the takes of a celebrity.
One of the most sensible takes on ‘cancel culture’ I’ve seen. Sensible, honest, smart. I’m posting the video directly as Times Radio tweeted it with a clickbait and somewhat misleading headline that unintentionally confirmed his point. More of this please.

Ah yes here we go. Another delicious one with respect to basic GDPR compliance while all eyes, efforts and quite some billing are focused on international data flows 🙄
Today @Google announced PAIR, a new offering that enables publishers and advertisers to reconcile their first-party data for marketing use in Display & Video 360. We're excited to share that @LiveRamp will implement PAIR and serve as a clean room partner. ramp.click/engage-first-tw

Also on the subject of social prescribing I visited this wonderful community garden last week. They are led by gardeners trained in mental health and offer friendly, informal sessions to every member of the Mitcham community 👍 youtu.be/mjrzd5yF4Qc – at Epsom, South East

That's Rollie Free, gas station manager, on this day in 1948 doing 150mph on a Vincent Black Lightning. Covered the first mile in 24 secs, wearing swimming trunks and lying flat to reduce drag. On the return run he swapped the helmet for a swimming cap and went a bit faster. FFS.

When evening bus fares were cut to £1 in Lancs, evening journeys increased by 72%! bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-la… Low fares help passengers & can cut traffic/pollution too. We want a national cap on bus fares to help with the cost of living & encourage people on board. #TheWayForward
