According to original Kings owner Jack Kent Cooke, these colors are Forum Blue and Gold, not purple and yellow. But call them what you will...
It was really cool to be the media coordinator for the men's & women's soccer championship at the 2022 @NCAADII Fall Festival when home state favorite @WWUAthletics women's soccer won it all. @GNACsports
Blessed with some of the best in the Northwest and @PlayNAIA.

All All-Star team headed up by legendary Blake Timm and will include other veterans in the field Sam Ghrist, Michael Safford Jr. and recently named NAIA SID of the Year Josh McDermott.
Very appropriate that @CollSportsComm Appreciation Week starts my November of sports freelancing. Looking forward to working the @PlayNAIA @CCCSports Soccer Championships beginning Saturday. #CelebrateCSC
I continued to be worried that the closest that Seattle will get to the World Series for a long time is the recent title won by the Seattle Pilots.
Let me get this straight...
• College soccer coaches want a split season, playing in the fall & spring.
• MLS is shifting to a fall to spring schedule, playing outdoors when half the country is cold and rainy and snowy.
And how do those changes help the sport?
To start @CollSportsComm Membership Appreciartion Week, shouting out my tweo mentors from my start at @goboxers to today - @kellyjbird and @SteveFlegel . I would not be where I am today, in or out of college athletics, without their guidance and friendship. #CelebrateCSC
With the shift to AM only, @knxnews needs to bring back the old jingles. "KNX 1070, News Radio!"
On Monday, May 11, 2026, KNX News will leave 97.1 FM to make way for a new sports talk show, 97.1 The Fan. KNX News will continue to broadcast on 1070 AM, 97.1 HD2, and the Audacy, iHeartRadio, and TuneIn apps.

Especially on the days between games, it is moments like this that make @MarchMadnessMBB even more fun. Thanks @BrennaGreene_ for posting this.

From Edward R. Murrow’s broadcasts to today, CBS News Radio has been part of the foundation of American journalism. Murrow’s mic sits on display at the National Press Club as a reminder of that legacy. When an institution like that disappears, it’s a loss for the public & for journalism.
As you watch #marchmadnessmbb and #marchmadnesswbb this weekend, thank all of the hard-working athletic communicators and volunteers behind the scenes keeping the skids greased and keeping the sites running smoothly. #ThankYourSID

I loved seeing @DickieV on NCAA Tourney last night. Most people are too young to realize that Dick, Billy Packer, Al McGuire, Brent Musburger, Raftery and Dick Enberg revolutionized college basketball on television. We should be lucky to have his passion in our 80s.
Initiatives like this make me proud to work at @pacificu, where we are working to make higher education accessible to everyone. forestgrovenewstimes.com/202…
Huge news in the Pacific Northwest. @pacificuniv and Willamette have signed a letter of intent to merge. If completed, it will create the largest private university in Oregon. Better educational opportunities on the horizon! pacificu.edu/magazine/pacifi…
