AI gives you access to the greatest SME, question is do you care about it.
Ai is a force multiplier. It means for most people Ai will be a nuisance clogging their social media feeds with slop, or annoying new features on devices they don’t want. These people don’t have much force so Ai doesn’t improve them in any meaningful way, and in some cases it worsens their lives.
On the other hand it’s a powerful tool for the hard working and intelligent. It’s an incredible time saver, which means huge productivity savings for those few that can unlock it.
So what’s the end result? More inequality. Not great for a culture that’s had decades of anti-inequality propaganda.
