We could've avoided weeks of drought by just scheduling test matches earlier.

I do not believe it! Twitter has separated Posts and Reposts in my profile – Elon is utterly determined to render this site useless

Yes. You could gas them as they sleep for eg. But to murder with a knife as Ghey was murdered is undoubtedly brutal, all the more so as he was lured to his death by people he thought were his friends. He would have died in pain and fear.

"The great tragedy is that One Nation Conservatism, properly conceived, still has a lot to offer politics today... Pay, education and life expectancy across the regions... varies wildly... ... many younger people feel that their parents and grandparents have enjoyed privileges that they will never have... ... three decades of unprecedented inward migration have stretched the social fabric in parts of the country... ... Meanwhile... devolution of power [is] pulling the home nations ever further apart... ... Against that backdrop, the goal set out by Stanley Baldwin, one of the greatest One Nation Tories of all, to “make one nation of our own people”, is as noble as it ever was and arguably much more urgent." From my piece for @Telegraph on how I think the One Nation tradition should be reclaimed and reapplied to politics today. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/08…

As someone living in Kyiv, I’m begging you: Please help us stop this. Almost every night, russia strikes Kyiv with ballistic missiles, hitting civilians, homes, and warehouses. We can’t stop these missiles because we don’t have enough Patriot systems. People are dying. Please don’t look away. Share what’s happening in Ukraine. Help us save lives.

Where's a Russian linesman when you need one?

Good luck Spain! Why are so many supporting Spain? Because of Argentina's attitude, especially over the Falkland Islands or, to use the correct name in Spanish, Las Isla Falkland.

Are we all Spain tonight? 🇪🇸

The worst possible outcome of calling a by-election would be if everyone just ignored the whole thing and left me to spend the next few weeks shouting at a bin.

Very important statement On the Clacton-by-election To clear up matters for Everyone. Because we are politically neutral It would be wrong for us to Name any candidate who Favours CEEFAX returning And it would be Childish to find a way of Embedding a subliminal message here.
