Our economy doesn't just need better policies. It needs a moral compass.
Justice. Honesty. Self-control. Courage.
The Stoics understood this thousands of years ago. It's time we brought those values back to American capitalism.

🚨 Toledo, Ohio
On October 20, 2026, a 5,500-gallon tank containing glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) began releasing chemical vapor into the surrounding area in Toledo, Ohio.
Public communications have not clearly addressed the full range of potential health hazards associated with GMA. In addition to irritating the eyes, nose, mouth, skin, and respiratory tract, GMA has been identified in hazard classifications as a chemical that can damage DNA.
GMA is a suspected human carcinogen, known animal carcinogen, and could impact reproductive outcomes in people. The possibility of DNA damage and other longer-term health concerns warrants careful, transparent monitoring.
Potential reaction or degradation products should also be identified and evaluated. Some potential breakdown products are also known or probable carcinogens.
Inhalation exposure to chemicals with suspected or known carcinogenic potential should be minimized.
@EPA is posting air-monitoring information; however, it only includes a generalized VOC measurement and does not include information about GMA or its breakdown products. The public needs a clear accounting of the chemicals tested, the sampling locations and times, the detection limits, and whether monitoring includes GMA and relevant reaction or degradation products. Without chemical-specific measurements and that supporting information, doctors, scientists and residents cannot independently evaluate past or current exposure levels.
@epaleezeldin, please ensure that chemical-specific monitoring data are made available promptly to Toledo residents, along with plain-language explanations of the results and their limitations.
🚩@epaleezeldin Please ensure the current monitoring equipment has the capability to detect GMA at low concentrations as well as its suspected breakdown products.
Residents have been advised by officials to return home.
🚩Please continue to follow the recommendations from public officials regarding ventilation, cleaning of homes, and disposal of contaminated food.
🚩🚩Please make sure you have fully ventilated your space by creating a cross beeze and utilizing a fan directed outside in areas where there are no windows or cross breeze.
🚩🚩🚩At this time it important to ensure full clearance of GMA and breakdown products from indoor air spaces.
The people of Ohio deserve transparent information and adequate monitoring. @epaleezeldin, please expand and clearly document the data collection.
Americans shouldn't have to choose between a strong economy and healthy families. Protecting our kids, our water, and our communities isn't a Republican or Democratic issue. It's an American issue.

Energy costs are soaring and voters are feeling the frustration.
Since 2020, avg. U.S. energy prices are up 30%, and in New England, energy bills are 70% higher than the national average.
One key factor? Limited #NatGas infrastructure.

Gov. Mike DeWine talks about Vivek Ramaswamy’s ad featuring Amy Acton’s mother saying she is lying about her past - “the ad is deeply, deeply troubling” and that when you know the full story “it makes it more wrong”
The fever is breaking! Great data @dellavolpe Harvard Youth Poll: Democrats Lead by 37 Points Among Likely Young Voters
I’m just glad @VivekGRamaswamy is a wealthy guy because he is morally bankrupt. Proud of my Republican friend @DavidJUrban for speaking out against it. We all should isolate this kind of toxic politics.
CNN’s @DavidJUrban slams the Vivek Ramaswamy campaign ad with Democrat Amy Acton’s estranged mom, who’s been accused of abusing her as a child...
“This makes Willie Horton look like a Hallmark movie, right? It’s just really bad. Who — I’m not sure, when you — when you screen that, you think like, oh, we’re going to pick up these folks. This is the target demographic we’re going after in this. If anything, it makes. Amy Acton — you feel worse for the woman when you find out the backstory? Initially, when you see it, you think, oh, wow, it’s pretty bad. Her mom is saying this, and then you read the notes — now, everyone’s heard about it — but you say to yourself, wow, that poor woman went through all this as a kid. I think that makes her it makes it makes her more relatable. And so, it’s — I think it’s backfired completely. And — and whoever — whoever did it, it shouldn’t be proud of it. They should be ashamed that they were — they didn’t think ahead three steps: If we do this, this is what the reaction is going to be.”
“I’m not defending Amy Acton. She may be a terrible politician. There’s plenty of things you can disagree about with her on policy. You know, I wouldn’t vote for her, but nonetheless, she’s going to be more compassionate because of this ad.”

Remarkable: Dems growing optimistic about flipping Ohio's Mahoning County, which media has turned into ground zero for Trump's success with working class.
Dem internal polling shows Trump at minus 11 points in the region, quite a collapse.
