Naas Roads Policing Unit carried out speed checks at Kilcock Road when they stopped this car. The driver produced an international permit, but by using the #MobilityApp it was found that the driver was an unaccompanied Learner. The car was seized and the driver was fined.

Gardaí in Lusk and Balbriggan conducted several MIT checkpoints recently. Over 450 drivers were tested for alcohol and drugs. One person was arrested for drunk driving, and another for drug driving. Multiple vehicles were seized for various traffic violations, and fines issued.

At a Multi Agency Garda RSA Checkpoint today members of the Kilkenny Roads Policing unit detected this driver disqualified on penalty points using the Active Mobility Device. Driver was also a holder of a Learner Permit and was unaccompanied. Car seized and proceedings to follow.
