INBOX: Florida mother is asking for help after daughter brutally beaten on Halloween night
A Jacksonville Beach mother is pleading for the public’s help after her daughter Alexis was violently attacked in the early hours of Halloween.
Alexis left Mango’s around 1:22 a.m. after work to grab her purse from her car parked behind The Ritz and call an Uber.
She never made it back.
She was struck from behind in the head and found knocked unconscious with her face was severely beaten.
Nothing was stolen.
Witnesses described the suspect as a Hispanic male with short, dark curly hair wearing a green shirt.
Her mother claims Jacksonville Beach PD has not yet reviewed available surveillance and is asking anyone with information or video to contact her directly.

May 2017, Osgood, Indiana. His baby half-sister Desiree, not even two years old, died at home. In July his 11-month-old stepbrother Nathaniel died in the same house.
Months later he confessed. He told investigators he was "freeing them from hell." When they asked what hell he meant, he gave them one word. "Chores."
That September he nearly killed a kitten in a relative's basement. She told police he had a temper and only thought about himself.
A psychologist found him competent to stand trial. His lawyers argued he had serious mental health problems and never got the help he needed. Prosecutors pointed out that the two deaths were three months apart. Not one moment of rage. Two separate decisions.
He was tried as an adult. In August 2021 a jury convicted him on both counts. The judge gave him 50 years for each child, back to back.
100 years. For something he did at 13.
