You have to remember, a lot of these older folks from the 60s and 70s have been fighting for equal rights for decades. What’s happening in this country is horrific, they’ve watched as rights were gained (like Roe) and then lost again. It’s devastating.

There are men who force their girlfriends to sleep on the couch when they're on their period. There are cultures where it was at one time ok to lock people up during their menses.

No, actually, it's not. People who want separate accounts typically have examples of why they need them. My mom had to get approval from my father in how much she could spend even though it was her money. Then he cleaned the account when he decided to divorce her.
There's a lot to address here.
1. Teenagers quite literally should not be getting pregnant. It's much more dangerous for them and their hypothetical fetus.
2. It was mostly nobility and royalty that got married extremely young. Normal age was 20s.

This is not the smart take you think it is. My little cousin ate all kinds of food up until she was about 3-4 years old. Then she only wanted ramen and plain rice with soy sauce. It literally does not matter what you introduce at an early age. They either like it or they don't.
