So, I remember a guy who liked me so much when I was in school. Very handsome, doing well for himself financially, while I was just a student.
At first, I wasn’t even interested in him, but this man was so intentional and serious about me that I eventually started developing feelings for him.
Then I got to know him better. 😭😂
Despite having money, his plans for the future were to open shops, trade, open a football viewing centre. Nothing wrong with any of those businesses, but I kept wondering why he wasn’t thinking bigger, considering what he could afford.
I started asking myself if I could genuinely build a future with someone whose dreams and ambitions were so different from mine. Maybe I could have convinced him to see things differently, but I did not want to enter a relationship hoping to change someone’s mindset.
As intentional as he was, I just couldn’t see myself settling into a life that didn’t align with what I wanted.
That was how I started losing interest. 😂

Am I the only one who doesn’t enjoy texting anymore? 😂
I prefer calls now. Texting has become such a hassle for me. I can call you and still be engaged in what I’m doing, but texting? Having to type, wait for replies, and keep the conversation going is a whole different task. 😭😂
Except it’s someone I’m not comfortable with yet and I’m still trying to establish clear boundaries with. In that case, texting is fine until we get to know each other better.

What does a money transfer company have to do with the fight against sickle-cell disease?
Sometimes, more than you think.
PESA announced a $20,000 commitment to a sickle-cell impact initiative with the Adekunle Gold Foundation, supporting organisations working across Nigeria, Canada, Ghana and the UK.
Because the true value of a company isn't only measured by the money it moves, but also by the lives it touches.
That’s impact beyond exchange rates.

Dear guys abroad, update!!!
I recently downloaded the PESA app and sent money home. Before making the transfer, I compared its exchange rate with other platforms, and PESA came out on top for me.
But what makes the story even better? PESA also gives back through business grants and tuition support.
Imagine getting a competitive rate while supporting a company that invests in communities.
That’s money moving with purpose.

No, I wouldn’t. Cheating is a deal breaker for me.
Just because you confessed doesn’t mean I will let it go or pretend nothing happened. I can appreciate your honesty in telling me the truth, but that doesn’t erase the fact that you cheated.
You made a choice, and that choice comes with consequences.
I would rather walk away than stay in a relationship where I have to struggle to trust you again.

Would you forgive your partner for cheating if they confessed themselves before you found out?

Have you ever seen your mother with a “male best friend” ?
Exactly.

So yesterday, I was joking with a friend that my supplements had finished and I would need over ₦140k to restock them because I only like buying them from Maxicare Pharmacy or H-Medix. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t have the money until later this week.
This girl asked me to list the supplements and their prices, so I did:
Collagen — ₦68,000
Vitamin C — ₦25,500
Vitamin E (pack) — ₦24,000
Omega 3-6-9 (pack) — ₦25,000
Total: ₦142,500.
Around 10am today, someone delivered all the supplements to me!😭
I called her immediately, and do you know what this girl said? “It’s good to be good.” Then she hung up!
Honestly, some people are proof that kindness still exists. I was only joking yesterday, not knowing that someone was already planning to put a smile on my face.
Is there actually a verse in the Bible that says a Christian man cannot have more than one wife?
When you read the Bible, you will find several men who had multiple wives. Some of them were even blessed by God despite having more than one wife.
For example:
• Abraham had Sarah and Hagar (Genesis 16:1–3).
• Jacob had Leah and Rachel, as well as their servants, Bilhah and Zilpah (Genesis 29:21–30; 30:1–13).
• David had multiple wives (2 Samuel 5:13).
• Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines (1 Kings 11:3).
So, why is polygamy such a controversial topic among Christians today?
But then again, what do you think?
Do you believe a Christian man can have more than one wife, or is polygamy against God’s will? Would your opinion change if the man in question were a pastor?

I prefer texting to calls, don't disturb me with calls unless it's business related or urgent confirmation.
