Red Wings GM Shawn Horcoff on Dylan Larkin sitting out - “I’m prepared to wait as long as necessary to make sure the return we get is good overall for the Red Wings … with the teams he has on his list, it’s difficult to get something done in a trade like this.” #LGRW

So, to recap the Larkin situation, this year he has:
- Said he wants to be a Red Wing for life
- Missed the playoffs again (scored one even strength goal after the Olympics btw)
- Demanded a trade (but only to the top 3 US contenders)
- Lost the captaincy
- Begrudgingly showed up to camp (but wouldn't *really* answer any questions & got "injured)
- Decided to play & said his focus was on winning games
- Expanded his trade list (to the top 10 US contenders)
- Publicly quit on his team for a second time
Missing anything? Seems like a really easy guy to root for

First of fall, they've been objectively amazing. @PostHockeyHQ uses several ways of ranking the teams and over the consensus of all of them, Boston is the clear best team so far this year.
