From TVP South & Vale 🚓👮 HENLEY NEIGHBOURHOOD TEAM WEEKLY ROUND-UP 👮🚓 It's been another busy week for your Henley Neighbourhood Team, working across our communities to keep people safe, tackle issues that matter to residents, and provide visible policing where it's needed most. ✅ We have carried out ASB and reassurance patrols across Goring, Woodcote, Sonning Common, Henley, South Stoke and Henley Market Place, including speaking with local traders and community members. 🏫 One of our PCSOs visited Kidmore End Primary School on Chalkhouse Green Road to provide a visible presence and engage with parents and pupils during school pick-up time. 🏍️ Following reports of a teenager riding a motorcycle in an anti-social manner and performing wheelies in Woodcote, officers identified the rider and issued a Section 59 warning. We will continue to act on reports of anti-social vehicle use to keep our roads safe. 🚗 Vehicle Security Reminder Please ensure your vehicles are locked and secure. We have received reports of a male checking vehicle door handles in the Henley area. ✅ Always lock your vehicle, even if it's parked on your driveway. ✅ Remove valuables and personal items from view. ✅ Ensure windows and sunroofs are fully closed. ✅ Report any suspicious behaviour to police as soon as possible. ☎️ We have also been carrying out welfare visits and safeguarding checks following reports that an elderly resident may have been targeted by financial scammers. Please continue to look out for vulnerable neighbours and report any concerns. 🍺 PSPO Reminder: A Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) remains in force across Henley until 1 May 2027, prohibiting the consumption of alcohol in public places. Officers continue to engage with young people and have seized a significant amount of alcohol from underage drinkers this week. 🚨 Following reports of a road traffic collision on the A4074 Reading Road, Henley Neighbourhood officers were among the first on scene. Officers assisted by closing the road, creating a safe working environment, and helping ensure emergency services had clear access to those requiring assistance. 🙏 Thank you to everyone who continues to report concerns, engage with officers, and support local policing. 📞 Report crime via 101 or online at orlo.uk/ib5pO 🚨 In an emergency, always call 999 Finally a reminder: 📢🚔 HAVE YOUR SAY - COMING TO A COMMUNITY NEAR YOU! 🚔📢 We're really excited to be hosting SIX Have Your Say meetings across the area this weekend! 🎉🏘️ This is your chance to: 👮 Meet your local Neighbourhood Policing Team 💬 Discuss issues affecting your area ❓ Ask questions and get advice 📣 Raise any concerns you may have ✅ Find out what we're doing to tackle local priorities and keep our communities safe Whether it's anti-social behaviour, rural crime, speeding concerns, or just a general chat, we'd love to see you there! 😊☕ Your feedback helps shape our policing priorities, so come along and make your voice heard! 🎯💙 📅 October Saturday 17th October 📍 Goring (Village Hall, car park) : 9:30am - 10:30am 📍 Sonning Common (outside the Village Hall): 11:00am - 12:00pm 📍Woodcote (Village Hall, car park): 11:00-12:00pm (multi-tasking two locations at once) 📍 Henley Market Place: 2:00pm - 3:00pm Sunday 18th October 📍 Co-op, Bridle Path, Woodcote: 10:00am - 11:00am 📍 Mill Meadows, Henley: 2:00pm - 3:00pm #HaveYourSay #NeighbourhoodPolicing #HenleyNeighbourhoodTeam #CommunityMatters #WorkingTogether #YourVoiceCounts #CommunityPolicing #HenleyOnThames #Goring #Woodcote #SonningCommon #SouthStoke #KeepingYouSafe #VisiblePolicing #TeamTVP 🚓🚔💙👮‍♂️👮‍♀️ 🏡🙌✨

Absolutely nailed it. People are so busy paying mortgages, feeding their families and protecting their retirement that those with real power too often escape proper scrutiny. Accountability shouldn’t depend on how rich or powerful you are. Enough is enough.

Pam Stubbs: SEND THE POLICE ROUND! @PostOffice accounts showed £9,000 missing from Pam Stubbs' branch over Christmas 2009. The branch was shut. Nobody was in the building. The Post Office told her to resign. Quick background if you missed this scandal. The Post Office accused hundreds of local postmasters of stealing money and prosecuted many of them, based on shortfalls shown by its own accounting system. A postmaster is the person who runs a village post office. Pam Stubbs was one of them. She ran the Barkham Post Office near Wokingham for about 10 years after her husband died. In 2009 the branch was being rebuilt, so her terminal moved into a portakabin in the car park. The shortfalls arrived. By June 2010 the Post Office claimed she had lost around £25,000 and wanted it back. She had recorded every transaction on paper. When her manager said lots of people blamed the computer system and nobody had ever proved it, she asked for the back office data to compare with her own records. She also told him to send the police round if he thought she was a thief and she would see him in court. She was suspended without notice. The next morning another auditor turned up. Then it gets better. £7,000 of the demand turned out to be a mistake. The Post Office corrected it and the demands kept coming, because nobody told the department sending them. Pam Stubbs became a lead claimant in Bates v Post Office and gave evidence at the High Court in 2018. That trial helped crack the whole scandal open. Lesley Nicol played her in @ITV's Mr Bates vs The Post Office. Today she is still speaking out. She wants the word compensation dropped and redress delivered, meaning a life put back the way it was before the accusation. In 2024 she said nobody at the Post Office accepted any wrongdoing while @Fujitsu at least owned up. Fujitsu said it would pay in. By early 2026, MPs on the Business and Trade Committee reported that Fujitsu had contributed nothing to the redress bill. About £1.4B has been paid to over 11,300 people across three schemes and thousands are still waiting. The Post Office is 100% owned by the government, so the government shares the blame. Pam Stubbs kept every record and remains the most organised person in this entire story. Share her name. Sources @nickwallis @ComputerWeekly @Karlfl @TheRegister @itvmeridian

High and others still covering up the Lloyds frauds Matthew. Shame Anthony’s not still PCC for proper ethical and moral policing
From Thames Valley Police 💙 A special tribute to PD Storm 💙 After years of dedicated service protecting our communities, Police Dog Storm is hanging up her harness a little earlier than planned. Sadly, Storm has recently been diagnosed with cancer, meaning she must retire from operational policing. While the news has been heartbreaking for those who know and love her, we want to take a moment to celebrate her incredible career. Throughout her service, Storm has helped locate offenders, tracked suspects and stood alongside her handler, PC Carey, through countless deployments. 🎥 This video looks back at some of Storm's highlights over the years and the difference she has made while serving the public. PC Lauren Carey said: "Storm is more than just a police dog, she's my teammate and a huge part of my life. Receiving the news that she has cancer has been devastating, and having to retire her earlier than expected is incredibly difficult. "Despite everything, Storm remains her happy, loving self and I'm determined to make the most of our time together. I couldn't be prouder of everything she has achieved during her career. She has given her all to policing and touched the hearts of everyone who has worked with her." Thank you for your service, Storm. 💙🐾

THIS IS THE NEXT BIG UK SCANDAL You go to your bank for a loan. What you actually get is a bomb with a timer on it, and the bank keeps the detonator. That is the Hidden Credit Line scandal It has been running since the 2000s. Here is how it worked. Banks including NatWest (@NatWestGroup), Royal Bank of Scotland (@RBS_Help) and Ulster Bank (@UlsterBankNI) sold business owners what looked like an ordinary loan. Attached to it was an interest rate swap, marketed as protection if rates went up. What it actually did was build a hidden credit line into the deal, extra exposure booked against the customer's own assets that they were never clearly told about. When rates fell after 2008, banks used that hidden exposure to call in debts, strip assets and push profitable businesses into insolvency. Two men refused to let this disappear. Steve Middleton (@stevemiddi1) and Mark Wright, a former RBS manager, built BankConfidential (@BankConfidenti1) to collect the evidence the banks hoped would stay buried. Mark Wright funded years of the work with roughly £60,000 of his own pension. He also named the individual who taught bank trainees... ... how to forge customer signatures. Neither man made a penny from any of it. Both watched their careers end for telling the truth. In November 2022, Steve Middleton, Lord Prem Sikka (@premnsikka) and derivatives expert Ian Tyler sat down with the Financial Conduct Authority (@TheFCA) and showed the whole thing in detail. @thetimes journalist James Hurley (@jameshurley) had already written four separate articles calling it financial and accounting fraud, including what he described as theft from Ulster Bank fixed rate loan customers. The FCA let NatWest mark its own homework, then concluded the fraud was not technically criminal fraud. A regulator investigating fraud and ruling that fraud is fine as long as nobody gets arrested for it. In November 2025, BankConfidential published their full report, modestly titled the largest fraud anywhere ever. Five months later, on 14 April 2026, it forced a Westminster Hall debate led by John McDonnell MP (@johnmcdonnellMP), chair of the APPG on Investment Fraud and Fairer Financial Services (@appgonifandffs). MPs read out the human cost. Catherine and Nigel Jarvis, told their losses were not foreseeable by a bank that had built those losses into the product from the start. Stephen and Gloria Lilley, personal guarantors on their own home, refused basic information about the size of the liability they were personally guaranteeing. MPs asked for one thing, a fully independent judge led statutory inquiry under the Inquiries Act 2005. Before this request there had already been the Foskett panel, the Swift review, the Cranston review, the Tomlinson report, the Project Lord Turnbull report by Sally Masterton and a full parliamentary commission on banking standards. Six reviews, zero justice. This would have been the seventh. Ian Byrne MP (@IanByrneMP) put it in blunt terms. He leads Parliament's push for the Hillsborough law and knows what institutional cover up looks like from the inside. Ian Byrne said this scandal belongs on the same list as Hillsborough, the Post Office Horizon scandal and the infected blood scandal. He also pointed out something .... FCA is a private company limited by guarantee. It has immunity from civil liability and can resist scrutiny in the courts. A former FCA employee described its staff culture as the worst they had seen across a 40 year career. One case Byrne raised, Andrew Candy, was hit with a £70,000 break cost never disclosed to him, lost his business and his family home, then spent 17 years fighting for answers nobody gave him. The government's answer came from Economic Secretary to the Treasury Lucy Rigby (@LucyRigby). She told Parliament the FCA is independent, so ministers should be careful about interfering with its judgment. AGAIN.. The regulator failed to regulate for over a decade, and the reason offered for not investigating that failure is respect for the regulator's independence. That is like refusing to review a fire brigade because fire brigades are traditionally left to fight fires, even the ones they started. Thousands of small businesses were quietly bled out through a product almost none of them understood and almost none of them were properly warned about. 2 whistleblowers gave a decade and a pension trying to fix it. Parliament asked for an inquiry. The Treasury offered a lecture on regulatory independence instead. Nobody has gone to prison... yet. Pathetic when SFO and NCA and senior police allowed Lloyds and RBS to defraud thousands of SMEs. Was anyone on backhanders?
We've recovered £15.4 million through judicial outcomes since April, and we're proud to support the new Anti-Money Laundering and Asset Recovery Strategy in the fight against dirty money.

Now why would the UK Police federation have shares in debt collecting agencies !! CDER, MARSTON AND SERCO, to name a few. I'll be checking the names, to see if any of the chiefs or individuals involved are profiting from other people's missery.

STATE STEALS, STATE SETTLES CHEAP Here's a maths problem the government set for two pensioners from Warrington. Take nine years of your life, your home, your business and your dignity. @PostOffice will take it from you for free. Then hand you £600,000 ... Meet Amanda Barber and Norman Barber. Amanda Barber ran the Thelwall Post Office branch. Norman Barber worked at Manchester Airport and helped out part time. Between them they poured around £200,000 of their own money into that branch, trying to plug shortfalls the Horizon computer system kept inventing. It didn't work. In 2012 Post Office prosecuted them both for fraud by false representation, over a shortfall of just £5,600. They got a community order each and 100 hours of unpaid work. They lost the business. They lost the house. They ended up living in a caravan. Their convictions weren't overturned in the big 2024 mass exoneration everyone heard about. Amanda Barber and Norman Barber had to go the slow way, through the Criminal Cases Review Commission, finally getting cleared at Southwark Crown Court in November 2021. Then came the compensation. The government offered every wrongfully convicted postmaster a fixed £600,000 each, a quick take it or leave it deal, instead of the long individual assessment that might actually reflect what happened to them. Amanda Barber and Norman Barber said even gathering the paperwork for a full assessment felt almost impossible after everything they'd been through, so they took the £600,000 each just to end it. Amanda Barber later said £1.2M between the two of them is nowhere near what proper compensation for their lives would look like. This week we found out why the rush to get people to take the cheap option might have mattered so much. Sir Wyn Williams @PostOffInquiry published his final Horizon inquiry report and it says at least 59 people told the inquiry they had contemplated suicide because of what Post Office @PostOffice and Fujitsu @fujitsu_uk put them through. 10 of them tried. Williams says there is a real possibility that 13 people died by suicide because of this scandal. The Business Secretary at the time, Jonathan Reynolds @jreynoldsMP, called the report an important milestone. About 1,000 people were wrongfully prosecuted between 1999 and 2015. Around 10,000 are now eligible to claim. Post Office is 100% owned by the state, so every one of those numbers sits on the government's desk too, not just a corporation's. Amanda Barber and Norman Barber didn't ask for a lump sum and a pat on the head. They asked for their lives back. Nobody can write a cheque for that. So the state wrote a cheque anyway, and hoped everyone would stop counting.

FCA andrew Bailey,s man Mat Briwis sent me to Bbrs before i realised they were all a pit of vipers with no conscience in cases were banking victims were driven to taking there own lives
Replying to @mickmor16921994
Th whole Board was copied in, to a genuine suicide letter of a swap victim, who was facing repossession over a swap hidden credit line secured via a PG on his home. He gave up his life to ensure his wife would be protected, knowing his insurances would pay out. None of them contacted me personally, none thanked me for the pro bono support of a widow when I could have used the case to expose the hidden credit line fraud. I was contacted daily by journalists for weeks but refused to give the story, if it put the widow at risk. Bully banks Directors were upset with me because I prioritised privacy and a deal for the widow over letting them use her for their promotional and financial gain. That is why the whole swamp of vermin in the City profiteering firm and stealing from consumers and businesses need to be exposed & eradicated and none more so than those pretending to rep[resent and support vulnerable bank victims like @SMEAllianceLtd & @APPGbanking I remember when after misleading bank victims for over 3 years that the BBRS was the way forward, @kevinhollinrake then used his work in setting up a 'successful bank compensation scheme' to get a promotion to the TSC. This country has become nothing more than a fiefdom, where the rich get richer by stealing from the poor...
