Preseason favorites to reasonably early exit: What led to the downfall of Illinois State basketball. jnljournalism.com/the-vidett…

Life is so good right now. Can’t believe what I’m witnessing.

I’m sorry did I just see a college football playoff ranking that had Notre Dame 11th and Alabama 5th?!? SEC Bias still a thing in 2026??

Main takeaway from last night Redbird’s game: Noah Cleveland needs to be the Aaron Gordon to Chase Walker’s Nikola Jokic. Cleveland should be his wingman, not playing the five while Walker is on the bench.

Dear MVC enjoyers, please go out and vote today! Voting is your basic human right, so do it.

I’m not too heart broken tbh. Brought a high quality mid major team to overtime with Walker having one of his worst games. Kinziger is already in mid season form, and a lot of the role players impressed. First game of the season, we move.

Redbirds can’t prevail in overtime as the Redbirds lose 90-85 against Saint Mary’s. How are we feeling Redbird fans?

Free basketball from the first game of the season? Heck yes.

Imagine if Johnny Kinziger had another clutch moment in him that would be crazy haha.

One point game, bodies on the floor. It’s a war between Illinois State and Saint Mary’s with 2 1/2 remaining. I love college basketball.

Redbird bigs have been getting cooked while trying to recover on pick & rolls. Something to keep an eye on throughout the season.

How it feels watching Kinziger & Klabo put the short king slogan on their backs. Two walking BUCKETS!!

Im not sure if my glasses are too dirty but did I just see Mason Klabo put in some post work to earn some free throws??

Messina-Moore and Kinziger make it fly as the Redbirds now lead 56-48. This team loves to score in spurts.

MESSINA-MOORE MAKING IT RAIN IN CALIFORNIA!! Three point barrage.

Walker with four fouls as 14 minutes remain. Just can’t have that.

Bro I am SICK of these guys

Yo this Demarion Burch guy is pretty good. I’m not sure where we got him from but I’m happy he’s here at Illinois State.

The Chicago Bears dominating the superbowl champions and Chase Walker is getting post up buckets. This is what life is all about.

Illinois state first half thoughts - The Redbirds lead Saint Mary’s by 6 with Walker only playing 2 minutes - Cleveland & Garang are awesome role players - Simply can’t allow 8 offensive rebounds in one half

Garang beats the buzzer as Illinois State leads Saint Mary’s 39-33 heading into the break.
