You can tell what year I stopped downloading new music
Unfortunately, as you get older, you gradually become less interested in new music and keep going back to the old favorite songs you once loved.

I don't think we talk enough about how God will give you a completely ordinary day, and that alone is a blessing. No emergencies, no devastating phone calls, no chaos. Just peace.

She is me
I love women who decided their life was going to be beautiful and then just went and made it that way.

I would never envy the woman he’s with now. Some of my darkest moments and deepest pain are tied to that man. I know what it cost me to love him, how much of myself I lost trying to make things work and how many times I wished for the strength to finally walk away. I could never look at someone living the life I once begged to be freed from and wish I were in her place. I remember the nights I cried, the moments I questioned my worth and the version of myself who kept hoping things would get better. What you once prayed for becomes the very thing you pray to escape. And when you finally find your way out, you stop romanticising what it took to break free. I don’t envy the woman who has him. I’m grateful I no longer have to be the woman I was when I loved him.

i think it's important to have parts of your life that aren't available for public consumption. not everything beautiful needs an audience.

i think one of the most attractive things a man can do is make a woman feel like her emotions aren't an inconvenience. like you can be upset, sensitive, overwhelmed, whatever, and he's still gonna be gentle with you. THAT is masculine to me.

I just don’t think many of you are intelligent enough to partake in a lot of conversations. Especially with your inability to see other perspectives outside of your own and how yall talk to ppl who don’t agree with you.
