You have my word.
Replying to @scott_colom
This is why so many Republicans i know and moderates like me voted for you. You seem to actually be a Mississippian, not a DC person. The most hard-core Republican i know (my business partner at our law firm) changed his vote from a wrote in to you because you came to talk to people at the Trump Rally. You treated people who disagreed with you as humans that just should be talked to. Do that in DC for us and you'll stay in tge Senate forever in my book.

I walked the Trump rally line to listen, not make assumptions. I talked with voters, asked questions and heard what matters to them.
When I'm elected, I'll represent all 82 counties and every Mississippian, no matter who they voted for. That's what being your senator means. #MississippiMatters

I wrote about the SCOTUS decision in Trump v Barbara—just 5-4 on what the majority rightly called “the promise” of birthright citizenship in the Constitution. Trump, alarmingly, is not alone in trying to break that promise—and he never has been. @newyorker newyorker.com/news/the-lede/…

Pope Leo's Easter message:
"Let those who have weapons lay them down! Let those who have the power to unleash wars choose peace! Not a peace imposed by force, but through dialogue! Not with the desire to dominate others, but to encounter them!"
Post-Birthright Citizenship oral arguments, a prospect Kavanaugh raised—Trump’s E.O. is thrown out, but on statutory, not constitutional grounds—deserves more attention.
Not the likeliest outcome, maybe, but one that would unsettle what had been seen as a settled right.
“It’s a new world; it’s the same Constitution”—Chief Justice Roberts (reassuringly) in the Birthright Citizenship oral arguments
Trump, as a party to the case, is at SCOTUS—but what about Sarah and Matthew, the American babies who are among the respondents?
