If horse manure were music, what she’s saying would be a full scale concert. “ban” = prohibition of discrimination; “consider” = fully use as controlling facts; “factor = a way to soften the extent to which race/ethnicity are used. Thanks CA voters for standing NO on 16/yes 209.
I am persuaded that the point has been reached where the majority cannot remain silent much longer. We speak up or “forever hold our peace.” Translation: vote, finance good candidates, interact on social media, do the things that Charlie would have done, before it is too late.
I am admittedly conservative, and I am a proponent of MAGA. How can I not want to make the country of which I am a citizen great? As a conservative, carrying signs and protesting it’s not my style. I am part of what I believe is often described as the “silent majority.”
I confess to misgivings about the style of candidate Donald J Trump. I considered him arrogant and somewhat of a self promoter. I was worried about the societal effects of branding his opponents as “crooked Hillary” and “little Marco” for example.
America is now engaged in the equivalent of a Civil War. It will be won/lost not by protests but by the strength of arguments. The founding structure of America - self governance by the people, individual freedom and equal opportunity for all individuals - while being challenged
I did not vote for former President Biden and I am hard-pressed to identify one thing that he did which suits my pleasure, but my respect for the office which he held outweighed my disgust of his service. I never once commented about his so obvious liabilities. I did not ate him.
Anyone who is unaware that we have serious problems in our beloved nation is either too preoccupied with other things, or just doesn’t care.
Have we forgotten that just 40 days ago a 31 year-old man was publicly assassinated on a college campus in Utah?
and someone who left a “turning point” legacy that will endure.
I commend those who organized, financed and conducted the “no king(s)” movement. It was a success as an organizing event. It was not reflective however of the American people.
Among the millions who participated
This is a large part of the problem in California. Along with the fact that people are voting who should not be, the state was flipped from light red to deep blue in roughly 20 years, and we are paying a huge price for that
American culture is collapsing, not becuz we are haters, but becuz we lack the courage to defend it. Progressives have intimidated us into silence. If I said since we have a black history month, which I oppose, we shd also have a white history month, I would be called a sellout.
We want “NO KING.” Leave our crime-infested neighborhoods alone. There were only 50 people killed over a weekend in Chicago one weekend, so what’s the big deal? And those who sell drugs, they have to make a living somehow.
The people of Calif voted to remove partisan politics from the redistricting process, but because of his presidential ambitions gov Newsom has brought back partisanship at a level never seen before: George Soros, Barack Obama, Martin Sheen, Tom Steyer. It’s unfortunate!
AB 3089 (CA) signed into law by Governor Newsom is among the dumbest bills in American history. Although CA was a “free state” this measure is a formal “acceptance of responsibility” for slavery and requires the placement of an apology plaque in the State Capitol Building.
I applaud the fact that Hilary Clinton commended President Trump for his role in freeing the hostages. That was a touch of class. And it could be the beginning to end all of the divisiveness in our country in the political system.

@GavinNewsom Although there is ample reason to doubt his sincerity and his motivation (which I do not doubt), I am pleased with and grateful for the comments of governor Newsom regarding the murder of Charlie Kirk. It was indeed “vile”. As a people, we must return to
2/ rules of civility in order to sustain the survival of our culture. There is no justification for anyone to look the other way or to minimize the significance of murdering someone because of their beliefs. Not only do I mourn the loss of Charlie, who was a great man,
I am unapologetically MAGA. A very dear friend is critical of me for being so. Why? She says America was never great. I strongly disagree but let’s say she’s right. What if I strike the “again?” What would be wrong with me just wanting to make America great MAG? Without
The world always needs a traffic cop to regulate behavior of the world’s nations. The role of leadership goes to that nation and its leader presumed to be the greatest. Why do the leaders of six other countries come to America’s White House when the American president convenes
