This says something about election integrity

The world is changing so rapidly, this is likely true. The US still needs more energy and data, but innovation will close some of the existing gap
Mark Cuban warns that the AI boom could turn into a debt bubble, with some data centers eventually becoming obsolete.
He believes the industry needs to do more with less power, rather than simply building bigger and more expensive infrastructure.
“ A lot of these data centers will turn into pickleball courts.”

We are just 1 week out from the midterm elections. Here are my expectations for the Senate, with a couple of notes.
MI is probably the hardest race to call. I could honestly see it going either way, and I think it will be the closest of any Senate race this year. Abdul is a terrible candidate, and Rogers is a fantastic one, but the national environment definitely favors the Dems this year and the GOP hasn't won a Senate election in the state since 1994.
Ohio is my pick for second closest race. Husted is a good candidate, but will be hurt by Vivek, who is deeply unpopular among Republicans. Split ballots are increasingly uncommon, and while it is definitely still a toss up in my mind, the Dems have a slight edge.
Collins has surpassed her polling numbers by an average of ~8 points in every election she's run in. Jackson had only a few months to campaign, and is dealing with a demoralized base after Platner had to drop out. He is facing an uphill battle and I think Collins will slightly edge him out.
Texas, despite all the chatter, will not go blue this year. It will be closer than most Republicans want to admit, but early voting numbers look very good for them.
In the end, I expect the GOP to hold the Senate by 1 or 2 seats. I think they are all-but-guaranteed to hold at least 50 seats, giving them the majority with Vance as the tie-breaking vote.
I probably won't do a House map, as there are just too many elections that I simply don't have enough time to follow and I wouldn't be as confident in my picks, but would do one if people here asked for it.
Let me know what you think!
Many socialist countries are moving more conservative while the US is moving more socialist. If it worked, socialist countries would stay that way. Look at Argentina
Last night British Columbia elected a majority Conservative government for the first time in a century. British Columbians wanted change, and voted for it in a big way.
Playing a part in this campaign as Director of Communications has been one of the coolest things i've ever done. An incredible team that had to be put together on the fly, and pulled off a truly remarkable accomplishment. I'm so proud of so many people.
The future looks bright for BC.
So, the Titans lose because they give up a wide open 8 yard pass in the middle of the field and let the guy run for 30 yards.
I don’t applaud the name calling but this is absolutely true
Replying to @ChuckieFFS
You absolute midwit. Congrats on repeating the Wikipedia "Nazis were far-right, end of story" summary you absorbed between TikToks.
Yes, the Nazis crushed independent unions, jailed and murdered communists and social democrats, and Hitler liquidated the Strasserite "left" wing of his own party in the Night of the Long Knives. That part is not in dispute. They were not Marxist class-struggle socialists. They hated Bolshevism as a Jewish plot and treated international socialism as the main enemy. Fine.
What your middle-school history class skipped is that they still ran a National *Socialist* state: private property existed only as long as it served the Führer’s racial and war goals, wages and prices were controlled, industry was cartelized under state direction, profit was subordinated to the party, and the economy was planned for autarky and rearmament. That is not free-market capitalism, liberal conservatism, or classical right-wing economics. It is the same family of state-directed, anti-liberal, collectivist economics practiced by every other fascist and "national socialist" regime. The name was not a prank; the 25-point program and the early rhetoric were full of anti-capitalist planks precisely because they were competing with the actual socialists for working-class support.
Your North Korea comparison is the usual gotcha and it is only half-clever. Yes, names can lie. But the NSDAP did not merely call itself socialist while secretly running a Rothschild hedge fund. They nationalized, directed, rationed, and regimented. The difference from Soviet socialism was mainly that the Nazis kept the owners as managers under party orders instead of shooting them all and installing commissars. Both systems produced shortages, secret police, and mass graves; one just had better uniforms and Wagner.
Elon pointing out the obvious—that "National Socialist" is not an ironic branding exercise and that the regime was economically left of any classical liberal or conservative—does not make him a moron. It makes him less obedient to the post-1945 academic consensus that insists every totalitarian who isn’t a full Marxist must be filed under "far-right" so the left never has to share the body count. Money didn’t buy him a brain; it just bought him a platform where he doesn’t have to pretend your selective reading of 1930s Germany is the complete picture.
Keep yelling "far-right fascists" while ignoring the actual economic policies and the party’s own name. It is the historical equivalent of covering your ears and shouting.
This year feels like so many in the past in that while football is done, looking forward to basketball season
This is not our year in football. Was always going to be a step back, but certainly disappointing to lose to Arkansas and return to worst in the league. I do believe next year will be different, but need to do better on the lines

Woman says she was “brainwashed for the first 30 years of my life.” After seeing the France riots, she’s awake
“Unfortunately, being a stark Lefty my whole life. All I used to do was scream, open the borders, free the refugees. But when you import the third world, you get the third world
What's happening in France and Milan — If you don't draw the parallels and see what is happening at this point, you are absolutely brainwashed. And don't worry, I was brainwashed too.
I was brainwashed for the first probably 30 years of my life, and now I've come to realize that that was all part of the plan as well. Prey on the empathy and kindness of those that care, give them a cause to fight for, and then everything else blindly goes out the window”
“But luckily I've woken up, and you really need to start questioning yourself and your empathy and who is co-opting your empathy. Who is taking it for their own regime - the world being mad at the moment was predicted and is by design”
I just want to say one thing,
Isn’t it interesting how when you see people talk like this, that say they’ve “woken up,” it’s ALWAYS a Leftist realizing they were wrong and turning to the Right
It is literally never the other way around
The Left is brainwashed and has their empathy weaponized to destroy themselves

Senator Slotkin understands something too many politicians even on the Right still don’t: young conservatives are clear-eyed about the threat posed by the American Left. They are under no illusion that leftists play fair, or that they ultimately want the same things but prefer different ways of getting there. That makes them fearless and effective. But to leftists like Slotkin, it also makes them a threat.
Young conservatives like those at American Moment understand the sorts of policies necessary to dismantle the Left’s death grip on so many of our public and private institutions, protect the good life for everyday Americans, and preserve our republic for future generations. Just as importantly, they do not care whose delusional sensibilities they offend in the process—a quality that has been missing from far too many politicians on the Right for generations.
That is why people like Slotkin are so desperate to sideline them before they ever set foot in the arena. Unfortunately for her, the brazen lawlessness of the Left is outmatched by the bold conservatism of young Americans whose fight has only just begun.
Our response to @ElissaSlotkin's threat to conservative staffers:
“We are going to help them get jobs, we are going to put them to work, and if anyone comes after them—they’ll have a fight on their hands.”
