Murder. This is called murder.
Welcome to government run healthcare...

We've delivered over and over for Michigan — not the least of which is FINALLY fixing the roads.
Lansing promised it for years, but it didn't happen until we led the way by putting forward the only plan to fix the roads and getting it done. Our plan dedicates $2 billion in recurring funding to fix local roads and bridges, and it lets LOCAL MUNICIPALITIES make the best decisions for what needs fixing most.

A woman received an automated $70 delivery of prescription dog food on her front porch.
Her dog had died three days earlier.
Grieving and overwhelmed, she called Chewy customer support asking if she could ship the unopened bag back for a refund.
Most ecommerce companies would generate an RMA slip, deduct shipping fees, and tell her to carry the 30-pound bag to a drop-off depot. The Chewy support agent refunded the entire $70 charge while they were still talking on the phone.
Then she gently asked her to donate the unopened bag to a local animal rescue instead of returning it.
The woman felt relieved and thanked the rep before hanging up.
Two days later, the doorbell rang.Standing outside was a local florist holding a bouquet of fresh flowers with a handwritten card signed by the Chewy agent offering condolences for her dog.
Chewy sends over 10,000 handwritten cards and custom floral deliveries every single year to grieving pet owners.
Spreadsheet purists would cut that budget line immediately.
That quiet line item is the exact reason customers stay with them for life.I owned restaurants for a decade.
Learning about this type of service was one of the most important lessons I took with me.
Treating people with genuine empathy during difficult moments builds relationships no marketing budget can replicate.
P.S. Chewy empowers reps to send full refunds, donation requests, and flowers to grieving pet parents.
P.P.S. This post is educational content based on real events to share customer service lessons.

🚨PRESCRIPTION DRUGS ARE TOO EXPENSIVE
Just across the river, Canadians are paying a fraction of the cost for their prescriptions than we are in Michigan.
Our system is broken — in the Senate, I'll fight to fix it. Let's Get to Work!
Whenever I post about my Six Penny Plan to balance the budget, inevitably someone replies: “Didn’t this used to be the Penny Plan?”
They are exactly right, and the reason why is sobering.
I introduced my first Penny Plan in 2018. Prior to that, a spending freeze was all it took to balance the budget in five years.
Today, runaway deficits and skyrocketing interest costs mean it will take a six percent reduction annually just to get us back on track.
The math doesn’t lie. Either we take responsibility now, or we condemn our children and grandchildren to economic ruin.

As one lawmaker pointed out: At any point over the last two years, the governor could have made clear she was going to veto the 9 bills over timing issues and effectively ended the legal fight.

We thank Michigan Rep. @tom_kunse for attending an APRx-moderated roundtable in Clare, Michigan with Michigan independent pharmacy owners on health care affordability and the growing independent pharmacy crisis. He heard from several pharmacy owners that explained that pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) practices are squeezing independents and without meaningful reform of PBMs, closures will continue while prices go up.

House Republicans are the reason road repairs got funded in last year's budget🚧

We're going to do it again this year💯

Rep. Tom Kunse tells us what his favorite accomplishment by House Republicans was in 2025, and we know it's one of your favorites, too.
We passed funding to FIX THE ROADS.
House Republicans will continue to disrupt the status quo in 2026, make government more transparent, and put your priorities FIRST.

WOAH 🚨 Michigan Democrats are putting dead voters BACK ON the voter rolls after they are removed
After the dead people are added back, THEY ARE MAILED BALLOTS
Michigan Rep Rachelle Smit “I took off a dead voter in my township and guess what? That dead voter was put back on”
“There was a family member who at one point was registered at my in-laws home, and that family member had died nearly 20 years prior. They were put on the rolls at 2020. They were mailed voter application ballots without the authorization”
