Well what a night that was!!! 3rd time lucky for myself & @KirkoswaldFC as we picked up the award Table 22 with 4 out of 4 winners well done everyone, and to have @wearetheGMA @AdamCoo98694851 alongside us was fitting Big thanks to my family for putting up with the grass 😂

GAME ON Somehow The Old Showfield has taken all yesterday’s rain no problem and is remarkably dry! After slitting the pitch on Sunday I decided to keep off it all week and that has helped massively, no nice stripes to look at but the game is on

It’s Old but Gold! Put the @SISISMachinery Slitter to work this afternoon on the pitch, trying to relieve some compaction and get some air into the profile after a lot of usage recently. Now to leave the pitch rest before next weekends fixture

Despite a frosty start I managed to eventually get on the pitch to give it a double pass with the @SISISMachinery Quadraplay Growth has slowed down a bit recently after cutting every 3 days! Back on it tomorrow to give it a deep slit to relieve some compaction heading into winter

Checked in at the pitch today to see if I could do anything. Just had a walk over it, felt sorry for myself and left 😂 2 days of rain forecast over the weekend which is desperately needed up here in Cumbria

The pitch is burning off fast now, raised the HOC to 50mm to try and protect it as much as I can 😩 First Pre Season game on Saturday and it’s not going to look very good with no rain in the forecast, will get the goalmouths watered but that’s about all I can do, roll on winter
