Was digging through logs again today. And once again found: The less noise the logs contain and the more meaningful and structured they are, the easier it is to gain valuable insights and spot real issues. Logs are part of the product, let's improve them iteratively as well.

By macro-managing them.🤓 Establish principles, set expectations, and define goals. Then back off. Offer coaching or mentoring as needed. Follow up on expectations periodically and have 1-on-1s often to listen/caring about day-to-day stuff and overall well-being and trajectory.
