Soaker of a Summer.
"Normal" rainfall for June 1st-August 31st is 250-300+ mm in the Maritimes.
Half of August left and we've already picked up a widespread 300-500+ mm, with a large pocket of 500-700+ in Nova Scotia, including #Halifax.
And more rain to come...

It’s a good one! Thanks for pulling it all together, Victoria!
I had the opportunity to produce, direct and write an episode of CBC's Land and Sea.
It airs this Sun, March 19 at 1 ET and 11 in the Maritimes and will be on CBC Gem.
Was so fun and fulfilling to step out of my daily reporter life for a bit! Hope you enjoy! @cbclandandsea @CBC
Congratulations, Ross. I always enjoyed our time together “in the field”. Enjoy your time, my friend!

Jim on prepping for his interviews: I only write down the first question, then depending on what they say, I decide what to ask the person next.” His candid, engaged style will always be his trademark. Sympathies to the Nunn family. Rest easy, Jim. cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scot…
Fantastic insights to a disease that affects so many, Harry. How useful and comforting it will be for those living with Parkinson’s to read your words. So pleased to see your success, my friend.

Ha! That is a foot pedal that controls the teleprompter. I “drive” for Amy too. Some times I speed. 😳
@tommurphycbc Tom when the shot is from behind we see under your desk a small box you have your foot on. What is it for?
Well done, David!
