Where do I begin? That was an evening I'll never forget.
Itโs an incredible honour to receive the Ballon dโOr award after a year full of goals, trophies and special milestones. Thank you to all the staff and my teammates at @england and @fcbayern, as well as family, friends and everyone whoโs supported me โ this wouldnโt be possible without you all.
Thank you to everyone who has sent a kind message, social media post - I appreciate every single one of them.

Oxford St is well served by the (fully accessible) Elizabeth line and multiple tube stations, with buses still crossing it several times.
Families, the elderly and blind people are the real winners: a calm, spacious street replaces a packed pavement with traffic thundering past!

Drove down Oxford Street a couple of hours before it closed to traffic for good. Purely for the novelty; can't think of a good reason to drive it normally!
Being into cars and wanting nice, liveable cities shouldn't be a contradiction. It'll be so much nicer without traffic!

People will mock this as small beer politics but predatory behaviour by parking companies has been a major source of frustration and financial cost for millions, and for many years.
๐จ NEW: Andy Burnham has announced changes to car parking fines
- Drivers will have a 5-minute grace period to decide whether to park and 10 minutes to leave after a parking session ends
- A ยฃ20 maximum charge on appeal for minor mistakes, such as entering the wrong number plate or not displaying a permit
- Charges will also be cancelled on appeal for breakdowns, medical emergencies or broken ticket machines
- The ยฃ100 cap on charges will remain
- The rules will come into force as soon as possible and operators that break them will lose access to DVLA data
