I’m convinced the only reason this artist doesn’t draw the cheek lines is to make sure we know they drew this.

Amazing video, put into words how it felt to watch episode 3, just an alienized version of toriyamas vission and the story and themes behind The battle of gods movie Give it a watch, this episode 3 really is that bad im sorry 👎

Dragon Ball fans have been screaming at each other all week over Vegeta's humiliation being cut. Personally, I think Toei created this divide long before any of this even happened. LINK: youtu.be/YA87F46xy3c

No one is going to agree with me, but this image from the remaster BOTHERS ME. Huge ears of different shapes and heights, face too high on the head and one eye a different shape/size, shoulders hunched making him look thicker and killing the skinny SSG look. I can relax now.

Before anyone says it, yes this is petty. Yes Yamamuro is a better artist than me. And yes this was a massive waste of time.

I guess Vegeta hasn't mastered Super Saiyan then? Look, if you like the Toei version more, that's fantastic. I like it too! But to suggest that there's an objectively correct way to transform into Super Saiyan is either idiotic or dishonest.

To be clear, the above tweet isn't to deminish what Toei chose to do. It's a really cool idea and I loved it. I just don't see the need to try to rationalise a preference into something objective. There are plenty of things to love and fewer reasons to tear others down.
