The collection has 6,265 fully revealed NFTs (originally marketed as 10,000). It minted in late August 2026 and now trades on OpenSea. The founder is @MarkNFT. The account has a few thousand followers and uses ocean/urchin branding (“Frens,” shells, reefs). urchinfrens.com
Unlike many PFP collections that stop at art, this one is built around post-mint utility: 🐚
• Reef Mint — a holder-only mint bot. Holding 10+ Urchins unlocks it. You load a mint, arm it, and it broadcasts a pre-signed tx when the sale opens. They claim a live test confirmed in ~0.1 seconds. urchinfrens.com
• ETH staking — stake Frens and receive weekly ETH rewards, typically paid on Sundays. Reward weight depends on how many you stake, how long they’ve been staked, and tier. @urchinfrens
• Shells — off-chain points. Each held Urchin earns 1 Shell per day. Shells power tools (e.g. Fast Wallet at 5 Shells, Premium Auto at 10) and are meant for future merch, giveaways, and perks. Selling an NFT stops new earning for that wallet; already-earned Shells stay. urchinfrens.com
