Until we see colder air, we certainly won’t see powder as soft as McAfee anytime soon.
Replying to @TaylorWAnderson
Because it’s either true or McAfee is softer than an aardvark in a sauna.
If your counter to this is some BS random tweet Pat never saw or referenced because it had nothing to do with this, just save it lol
If you fly @SouthwestAir in the next while, their stellar pretzels and the bloody marry are a LETHAL 10,000 feet duo 😮💨
If you think the McAfee thing is about a lack of class with Utah fans, and you’re grifting his “offense” while he is comparing himself to Charlie Kirk, so you can dig at an opposing fan base, you are at the actual bottom of human intellect and an entirely unserious person.

I will be taking pre-orders for this shirt. Hoping to have red, white, gray, and black. DM me size, color, and address. Price TBD. ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH FOOTBALL NIL FUND.
Okay, so @PatMcAfeeShow gets called corny and some kid says him undressing in public is creepy. So then McAfee compares himself to Charlie Kirk. It’s not about his safety it’s about him being butthurt. He’s being a huge drama queen. AND the university still screwed up letting it be posted in the first place. Because although it’s horsing around, clearly, McAfee is a dude to be taken super duper seriously and shall not be disrespected even in jest.

I asked ESPN and Utah for comment about McAfee and the relationship with Utah moving forward.
This was ESPN's response. nytimes.com/athletic/7727393…
Playing CFB26. Dynasty, HC at Oregon after 6 years and a Natty at Nevada. Unranked when I got there. Two top 10 wins, 5-0, still unranked. Crazy.
The JP poll is a betting tool, that’s it.
It is entirely speculative. It is not a State of the Sport address.
It is (and if not, should be) in an entirely different world than any sort of ranking or merit based poll.
Many SEC fans support this because they support the elevation of their team’s value or merit on a speculative basis, who would beat who. The sports books provides the most credible speculation for their argument. This misunderstands the purpose of the poll. LSU being favored over BYU should have absolutely zero impact on whether or not BYU deserves to be, or should be, in the playoff (right now) over LSU.
Many Big 12/ACC fans oppose this poll as a whole because, they believe it peddles a general perception of a lack of value in these two conferences as a whole.
Both perceptions lack nuance. But I think there is an elephant in the room at could be helpful for the public perception of the JP poll, if @JoshPateCFB were to directly address. *Should* the playoff be determined on any type or degree of speculative basis? If it should not be, but is, which I presume is the answer, what do you do to better combat the disservice this poll may do to objective criteria and the perception of other conferences as it relates to playoff qualification as a whole?
Maybe the public has no interest in following the conflict down to the roots. But I think this would help clear out ultimate logic that is driving emotional rhetoric from both of these vocal parties on the JP poll.
Also, I think the JP poll is on drugs with Texas, and when Vegas agrees, I’d happily put my money where my mouth is. Ole Miss money line.
Your reward for creating a super conference and a hyper competitive environment is the TV contracts and general conference prestige.
It should not be preferential playoff access.
Preferential playoff access only further incentivizes super conferences.
Want to restore regionality? Want to keep college football college football?
Establish the proper incentives. Fix the governing body of the sport, and figure out who actually gets to determine college footballs internal policies. The answer here, is not Congress, nor is it the TV corporations.
When it was the PAC 12 it was called the circle of suck, by the way
The SEC circle of parity is officially complete
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The circle is incomplete as it shows Vanderbilt being beaten by both Auburn and Arkansas instead of having a continuous loop of teams beating the next. The circle would be complete if Vanderbilt had defeated Auburn.
