He is losing American support not because he is bad. He defends the ideas and values that the US defended in 1940. He is being betrayed today by an American president who finds himself manipulated and blackmailed by an authoritarian and evil Russian president. Drop a 🇺🇦

The Prime Minister was unable to answer a simple question today about why a disabled person who needs help to eat, wash and manage toilet needs could no longer get PIP under his proposals. The Government must drop this cruel proposal or it’ll face the mother of all rebellions.

5 hours on corridor trolley to be triaged & assessed. Then 12 hours in a cubicle & now 1 hour & counting in a “ward wait” area aka a corridor with my mum (fluid on lung ? Community acquired pneumonia, heart failure). #brokenNHS @wesstreeting @Keir_Starmer

Only the richest 4% of people pay Inheritance Tax. Only the richest 1.5% of farmers will pay HALF Inheritance Tax spread over 10 years. This is a protest funded by the obscenely wealthy who want to pay no tax at all.

Do you pay tax on the state pension? I've been asked this a lot after last night's @ITVdebate so - The state pension is, and has always been taxable income. - The full state pension is currently £11,500/yr - The standard personal allowance (the amount you can earn before you pay income tax) is £12,570/yr So if you ONLY get state pension income and nowt else, you won't be taxed currently. At the last available DWP data of 12.7m people of state pension age in the UK, 8.1m will likely pay income tax as other income took them above the personal allowance. So roughly two thirds of state pensions do already pay tax

In January 2011, just 17 people waited longer than 12 hours on a trolley for an emergency hospital bed. In January 2024, more than 50,000 people did. Please RT so everyone can be aware of the damage the Conservatives have done to our NHS.

Extra weekend lists are already common place in many hospitals There is no extra hospital capacity at weekends. Patients suffer degrading corridor care 7 days Healthcare is expensive. We need honest and sustainable plans supported by investment This is more of same. Won't work
NHS staff already work weekends. Labour will pay staff overtime for extra shifts at evenings and weekends to cut waiting lists. It’s already working in a handful of hospitals. We need it to happen across the nation. It will cost £1.1 billion, paid direct into staff’s pockets.

The fundamental of this on going debate is whether it is "safer" for vulnerable patients to be on overcrowded corridor in hospital or lying on the floor in the street waiting for an ambulance. Both are appalling and shows how bad it is. This may not yet be nadir. @ShaunLintern

Junior doctors start their careers on £29,384. There is not a single Conservative MP who would be prepared to do their jobs for that salary. If we’re not careful there won’t be a single junior doctor who is prepared to do so either.

Everything they are doing to the NHS they did to British Rail. Underfunded it, exhausted the service, got the public angry, and then said privatisation is the solution.
