UPDATE: Thanks to many generous donors, we've raised nearly $4k so far for earthquake relief. Esin is traveling to Turkey on Thursday to buy and deliver supplies firsthand to victims around Malatya, particularly in smaller villages that are hard to reach. gofund.me/63901a07
My wife Esin's brother Engin is organizing daily shipments of necessities to the affected areas in Turkey. We've set up this GoFundMe campaign as a means of getting help quickly and efficiently to people in need, both in the cities and in remote villages. gofundme.com/f/earthquake-re…
Taking care of the residents in that neighborhood (Çavuşoğlu Mahallesi, Malatya) has become an urgent priority, with winter weather complicating the relief efforts.
