I've been thinking about this cheating saga and I have some things to say. This may be a long thread. I think it is odd how we view evil people as harbingers of justice when their acts are directed at people who do bad things. I'll use prison rape as an example now.

I forgot to mention how schools admit more students than they are supposed to, and then try to reduce the number by making their exams so hard that students fail and drop out. On more than one occasion, PO had to pay for schools to renew their accreditation out of his own pocket.
I've seen some replies try to deny the fact that the education sector in this country is falling apart. They are bringing up THE world university rankings to prove that the quality of education in Nigeria has not reduced. I'll be debunking these lies here with real life examples

A civilian spent millions, helping students who could not graduate due to accreditation issues, while the government watched and did nothing. They spend billions on useless projects, on private jets, on hotels. But they cannot provide the bare minimum when it comes to education.

Pregnancy is not a death sentence. It is not normal to die during pregnancy/childbirth. Deaths during pregnancy are caused by complications in pregnancy, not pregnancy itself. People die in car accidents every day. Does that mean that driving a car is a death sentence? No.
No one hates mummy zee because she was once favored on this app. I personally unfollowed and blocked her the day she said “pregnancy is not a death sentence” That statement is her being dismissive of the crazy things that women go through in pregnancy. Some women have lost their limbs because they brought a life into this world. Some went blind. Some did C section and never got to see their baby. I had seizures that made me unconscious and lost my ability to speak for almost 2 days. Mummy zee constantly talks down on women as if it’s not the same genital parts she has with us. You don’t have to be a “girls girls” but talk like someone that has sense when it comes to matters that involve women.

these complications and show empathy. We can achieve this without spreading the false narrative that pregnancy is a death sentence. Words have meaning.

You people need to learn to stop reasoning with your emotions sometimes and understand that saying something like this does not negate the struggles women face while pregnant. Women do die in pregnancy and childbirth. They die due to complications. People need to be aware of-

That something happens a lot doesn't mean it is normal. Many things that are not supposed to happen, happen. It doesn't make these things normal. Not at all.

People die while driving due to complications, not due to the act of driving itself. You can say that her tweet about Toluwanisings wife was insensitive and you will be right. But what she said about pregnancy not being a death sentence is true.

God has blessed me with a higher-than-average intellect and I'd rather die than use it to propagandise for an elite of thieves and rentseekers.

my worst opinion is i support the taxation coming next year, not because of revenue or anything, i know for sure the govt will steal it, but by the time the govt takes 30% from your 70k salary, and you still never see light, you will demand better by force.

If you want to help Nigerians, you will have to fight them. I've never seen a group of people defend and rationalize the actions of their oppressors so fervently

"my specific horrible experience" And yet if you ask any student studying in a federal university what their experience is like, they will tell you similar stories. Nigerian public schools are shit. Dirty hostels. No classrooms. No protection for students' rights. But sure.Go off
“Let me debunk well established fact by auditors who study universities with my specific horrible experience” Your anecdotal localized experience is not an experience of the whole This is why statistics exist, to bridge the gap between irregularities Also most of the increase in prices have been inflationary. None have beem based on the demand for better quality education. They were simply the effect of subsidy removal and the cbn printing. That cost was always going to trickle down whether Tinubu or any or other person was president.

NELFUND has disbursed over ₦370 billion to students. That is the headline. What they don’t emphasise is that this is debt, not free education. Students are borrowing money for school fees and upkeep in a country where the same government cannot fix public universities, pay lecturers on time, or guarantee jobs after graduation. When the loans start coming due and the jobs are not there, the same students who are celebrating today will be the ones struggling to repay. The government found money for loans. It still has not found the will to properly fund education so that most students would not need loans in the first place.
