Griffin, 34, is accused of murdering his former business partner, Thomas Strussion, 52, and Thomas's wife, Angela Strussion, 49, inside their Ohio home on September 21, 2021. The Strussions owned Salsa Joe's restaurants in the Ohio Valley. Prosecutors allege Griffin traveled from Oklahoma to Ohio, shot the couple, killed their three dogs, deliberately set their home on fire, and returned to Oklahoma. After a years-long investigation, Griffin was arrested in Hawaii in February 2025. Now, more than five years after the killings, the case heads to trial.
