🚨 Update for the @goblintown Shweepshtakes 🚨
TLDR: The shwepshtakes site will be temporarily down tomorrow for contract migration. Week 5 is being extended by one full week and will now end Dec 22 at 12pm ET.
1. Temporary Site Downtime, Contract Migration
Tomorrow, the site for allocating your tikits will go offline for a bit while we migrate to a new contract. You don’t need to do anything.
Any tikits you’ve already allocated remain valid.
Any tikits currently sitting in wallets will be burned and replaced 1:1 with tikits from the new contract.
Why the upgrade?
When we first built the Shweepshtakes, the trade-in system didn’t exist. Now that people are swapping NFTs they originally bought for huge amounts of ETH value and receiving tens of thousands of tikits, we’re hitting a technical limitation. Sending that many NFTs one by one is causing nodes to flag us as spam, slowing everything down.
The existing contract just wasn’t built for this level of action, so we’re upgrading it to properly support the trade-in mechanics and keep everything running smoothly.
You can keep allocating and sending tikits right up until the site goes down for the migration. Once the new contract is deployed:
- New tikits will be airdropped
- Old tikits in wallets will be burned automatically
- Everything continues as normal
2. Week 5 Extended
While the migration shouldn’t take long, and since we’re already about 48 hours behind on processing trade-in tikits, we’re giving Week 5 an extra week.
New Week 5 end time: Monday, December 22 at 12pm ET.
After that we move into Week 6, then Week 7 and Week 8 as planned.

The @Goblintown and @Truth ecosystem Trade In System is now live!
Head to spechul.goblintown.com/trade… and connect your wallet. The site will automatically scan your Goblintown and Truth ecosystem NFTs and show how many tikits each one is eligible for.
Eligible collections include Goblintown, IlluminatiNFT, McGoblin Burger, Big Inc, Big Inc Letters of Acceptance, aksessorees, PeePee Goblins, IlluminatiNFT Passes, and UnDAO.
Not eligible Grumpls, The 187, and any 1 of 1’s in any collection.
As announced on Friday, the key detail is that your tikit value is based on what YOU originally paid. Not the current floor. Your actual cost basis.
So, for example, if you spent a bunch of ETH in 2022 on a Favored pass that has a 20 dollar floor today, you can still trade it in for a mountain of tikits for a shot at a Gen 2 1 of 1.
Everything traded in will be burned. 100% of the items we receive. This will hopefully be the biggest ecosystem burn and supply lowering we have done so far!
A few important notes
• When you confirm a trade, approve the transaction and the it will pull your NFT into the master wallet. We then send tikits manually. We will fulfill trades throughout the day, minimum once every 24 hours, until the event ends.
• No NFTs will be burned until after the Shweepshtakes is fully complete. This gives us time to resolve any issues or bugs (and send back the NFT if you don’t get your tikits).
• ERC1155 NFTs are messy to track for the last sale price. Because of this, every 1155 shows “unreliable last price” and must be handled manually. DM us at @goblintown on X to initiate and we will send you instructions and a form to fill out (including asking for etherscan links, etc)
• Holders of Goblintown and Illuminati NFTs from BEFORE the contract migration are also messy to programmatically track for the last sale price. Because of this, every Gob/Mid that doesn’t have a “last sale price” on the current contract will show “We couldn’t estimate the last sale price for this NFT. Please contact us by sending a DM to @Goblintown on X with your interest if you’d like to trade in” and must be handled manually. Follow the directions by DM’ing @goblintown on X to initiate and we will send you instructions and a form to fill out (including asking for etherscan links, etc)

1. Tikit Trade-In Bonanza Begins Next Week
We’re launching a massive @Goblintown / @Truth Ecosystem Trade-In Event.
Almost every NFT you’ve ever purchased in the Truth ecosystem will soon be trade-able for tikits.
Here’s the kicker:
You will receive tikits based on the price YOU originally paid, not the current floor.
Example: If you bought a McGoblin Burger for 1 ETH in 2022, even though the floor is lower today, you’ll still get 1 ETH worth of tikits toward the Gen2 1of1s.
There will be some exceptions of specific NFT's and collections off limits.
Next week we’ll launch a website where you can connect your wallet, automatically see your last purchase price, and view exactly how many tikits your NFTs can be traded in for. Full details dropping when the site goes live.
Oh and yea we will burn everything traded in.
2. Shweepshtakes Extended Two More Weeks
We’re adding two extra weeks to the Shweepshtakes.
That means 8 additional characters will join the Gen2 1-of-1 lineup, increasing the total from 24 to 32.
We’ve already purchased the 8 goblintown NFTs and they’re sitting in the wallet right now, waiting to be transformed into their flip-it-back-ovr spechul forms.
