Introducing Tasks in Octarine ✅ Plan your work right next to your notes. - Projects, subtasks and cycles, as a list or a board - Turn any checkbox in a note into a real task - Ask Octarine can plan and manage tasks for you - Full CLI support, so your agents can run it too

Even more teasing before the upcoming release, wikilinks can now be made to headers of a note and they can have aliases. And they both can be combined.

Very excited for the next major release, since Ask Octarine is going to have write-tool access to create/update/move notes and folders across the workspace, right from the chat. And a one-click undo so you can revert any operations. Here's me asking it to organise a folder into sub-folders

So this made me realise something. I tried a lot to get the startup to be faster for the bounce, but I feel it'd be worth more to the user to NOT see the frame stitching. So a tradeoff. We go to a full bounce, but the startup is smooth with everything loaded. So not a half bounce with multiple frame stitching, but rather a full bounce with complete interactivity Here's current prod (light) vs the new fix (green dark)

Frame doesn't fully settle until after a full bounce (1st image). You've got a fully empty window for nearly the full downward bounce (2nd image). You then enter a loading state with unsettled UI (3rd image) that I count 5 full frame changes until settled. Bounce benchmark is over at fully settled window frame with interactivity accepted.

One click resume sessions without worrying about what agent was it that started it (or which project).
Building something new to help correlate agents writing all the code with commits, so later you can learn the LORE behind a feature, know what your teammates are shipping (since may apparently don't read the code, atleast read the prompts/decisions) and much more. Early days
