RNZ reports "Luxon says it's not true to say Maori weren't consulted" over scrapping the Māori Health Authority. Bro was committed to scrapping it BEFORE it was established. Did someone point that out? No?

"You’ll get over it". "Give it time". These are common cultural refrains in the face of loss. But what if grief doesn’t play by the rules?

His Honour Judge D Stone has just advised in a Memorandum that the urgent hearing into the disestablishment of @TeAkaWhaiOra IS going ahead. The Tribunal will not be bullied into just calling the matter off, they will keep going until they lose jurisdiction. #WAI3307

Our research is unequivocal that men who sexually abuse children use encrypted apps at much higher rates than men who don’t. Meta’s decision will result in many more child sex offenders using Messenger.
We’re starting to roll out default end-to-end encryption for personal calls and messages on @messenger. This isn’t a routine security update: we rebuilt the app from the ground up, in close consultation with privacy and safety experts. We added some new features too: you can now edit messages, turn off read receipts, send disappearing messages, and more.
