#bbccricket on bad light, how about a new rule that applies in bad light: no short balls to improve safety. Reduce the wide height to, say, waist height or add a line on the pitch which the ball must bounce past. Umpires can signal on/off, hawkeye enforced. Keeps all bowlers on. – at Hitchin, England
From the hindsight dept: When painting a room get a bit of paper, paint a square on it and stash it away in your records. When you need to go back much later for another can and it comes up a totally different colour as the base has changed they can scan the paper to get a match. – at Hitchin, England
