Things that Schools should teach: 🧠 • Being wrong is not a bad thing. • It's Okay to question what you have been taught. • Grades aren't as valuable as skills. • Understanding is more important than memorization. • Making mistakes is Okay. Learn from your mistakes.

It doesn't matter how beautiful your theory is, it doesn't matter how smart you are. If it doesn't agree with experiment, it's wrong. In that simple statement is the key to science. *Cornell University Lecture, 1964*

When taxonomy is data rich, the science becomes much more objective, and is not arbitrary. Taxonomic hypotheses are generally as strong as the underpinning data. But of course, evolution is also sometimes “messy”

I find it so ridiculous that new dinosaurs and hominids make it into @nature but basically no other taxonomic descriptions apparently qualify. The new Stegouros is no more elaborate or interesting a discovery than typical new frogs, lizards, or fish. nature.com/articles/s41586-0…

Dear Reviewer 2, I know that my English is not flawless, but could you please be more constructive and use another wording to convey your message? Unlike you, I spent most of my life in Siberia and had no chance to study and work in an English-speaking country. Thanks.
