one thing i find interesting is that a lot of old-ish accounts on here with insanely high follower counts >350k or even 1m+ get such little engagement on their posts while lower sized accounts get insanely high engagement. obviously i know the older accounts followers likely churned a while ago but still, goes to show you follower count is not a great metric especially for quality & thoughtfulness. unlike real capital, social capital is very much fleeting. unless you’re able to keep with the zeitgeist, it’ll disappear quickly.

France is a reminder that one of the big issues with declining birth rates is you get a class of people who don’t work, live off the public teat, and who vote to consistently hold the country hostage. I am, of course, talking of pensioners.

I won’t even be quiet about it no more. When I played in the NFL we all knew officials were rigging games certain ways. It happens at the college ranks. Last year when I put the NFL on blast about it they threatened to pull my pension. Fck em. The world deserves to know.
