UPDATE: After nearly two weeks, progress has moved over 10% (from 50.50% to 60.69%) on my (Saturn) Sonic 3D Blast decomp project. Most of the remaining work lies in SONIC.BIN (the core 2D isometric game). Progress is slowly grinding along.

MILESTONE UPDATE: I am now past the halfway point in my (Saturn) Sonic 3D Blast decomp pet project, which is now sitting at ~50.50%, and slowly grinding along. Most of the work left lies in SONIC.BIN (the main game), which includes hundreds of unmatched functions (C code).

this gameplay is hilarious but the fact that the solution is to just face tank it because you out damage fire man so easily is basically indicative of how bad boss design is in every classic megaman game

A good example of good boss design is the Freeze Man fight, the pattern can change sometimes if you don't pay attention but also he doesn't move until you start moving or shooting. Personally decided to do a no damage run for the fight.
