The 32-year-old railway worker Yana Shpakova was killed in yesterday’s Russian drone strike on the train station in Dnipro.
She was a single mother who was raising her 15-year-old daughter Myroslava.
She started working for Ukrainian Railways when she was 19, two years after her daughter was born.

When I saw photos of children dressed in Russian camouflage at the White House Halloween celebration, my first thought was that they had to be fake.
It couldn't be real. Kokoshniks, a traditional Russian military cap. Ugh.
I went to check Melania's official pages and the American press. It turned out to be real. Not AI-generated. Horrifying.
Against the backdrop of our Ukrainians from Oleshky, who are now waiting to be evacuated and are terrified of being left in Russia, it looks like Satan's ball.
I'm speechless.
Universe, give us strength.

Likely a new record by Ukraine's Armed Forces in terms of multiple strikes on one Russian infrastructure target this morning at Russia's massive Novokuybyshevsk refinery, with 11(!) areas of the facility currently burning.

17 buses carrying residents of Russian-occupied Oleshky departed for Ukrainian-controlled territory today. Only 4 headed to russia.
Today, during a temporary ceasefire that allowed humanitarian aid and evacuations, residents finally had the opportunity to leave.
And when given the choice, far more people chose Ukraine over russia.
According to reports, more than 500 people chose to return to Ukrainian-controlled territory, compared with approximately 100 who headed to russia.

Kaja Kallas:
The foreign minister of the Soviet Union said: the tactics of Russia is actually threefold.
First, you present demands and ask something that has never been yours.
Second, you present ultimatums and threats.
And third, you just wait, because there will always be people in the West who will offer you something you didn't have before. So you just have to wait them out, because the Westerners will always fold. So let's not give him this.

Anna, a young mother of twins, was cooking and looking after her kids and little niece when russia struck Kremenchuk yesterday.
She managed to shield her niece with her own body, saving the child's life. Anna herself suffered fatal injuries.
It was her husband's 35th bday 💔

The Kremlin has spent years courting Donald Trump. Now they're seeing the payoff.
The United States of America is now helping Putin in his war against Ukraine.
I find that tragic.

🔺 Yesterday, Russian strikes killed at least 20 people in Ukraine. Among them were two 15-year-old girls.
Today, at the White House, children dressed in Soviet military uniforms and traditional Russian clothing approached Donald and Melania Trump for candy.
This is not harmless fun. This is the normalization of the symbols of a state responsible for war crimes and of the people who commit those crimes.

Another dark mile marker on this Trump train that carries America into the Abyss - Russia's war criminal Foreign Minister has arrived into Atlanta.
To make the con complete, Putin even had the decaying, chainsmoking octegenarian monster dress up as an American teenager.

A father screams in anguish beside the body of his dead daughter. Two 15-year-old girls were killed in a russian attack on the center of Chernihiv, Ukraine.
Dozens are injured, including four children aged 10, 16, and 17, and a 10-month-old baby girl.
Meanwhile, Trump has ordered Ukriane not to hit russian oil refineries, so that russia could make billions and build more rockets and drones to kill more Ukrainians.

New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill (a Democrat) is threatening to block the receipt of Russian diesel fuel at the largest import terminal in the United States, the FT reports.
The governor is currently exploring measures to prevent the unloading of fuel from the aggressor state.
According to her, Trump is not actually doing anything to lower fuel prices, and the agreement with Putin is “illegal and corrupt.”

Two 15-years-old girls were killed who were walking down the street at the time.

Today has been a very difficult and tragic day.
I wanted to post this video to share something heartwarming.
Yuliia Rostovska has been waiting for Serhii since 2022, when the Mariupol Defender was taken prisoner by Russia. He spent 1655 days in Russian captivity.
All these years, Yuliia fought for her husband's release.
Finally, they are together again.
I wish them a lifetime of happiness.
