We have just launched an early beta of the UK Politics Decoded MP Lookup tool.
Search for MPs, view constituency information, parliamentary activity, voting participation, committee memberships, Hansard activity and more.
We are looking for people to test it, break it, and tell us what needs improving.

On 3rd November 2026 MPs debated a petition relating to the proposed ban on social media for under 16s.
The debate on the under 16 social media ban felt less like a debate on whether a ban is justified and more like a discussion on how it should be enforced.
MPs spent significant time discussing online harms, but far less time on privacy, age verification requirements, digital rights, or the benefits social media can provide to young people.
One issue that appeared largely absent from the under 16 social media ban debate was cyber security.
If millions of people are required to prove their age online, who stores that data? How is it protected? What happens if those systems are breached?
Expanding age verification also expands the attack surface.
At a time when cyber attacks are becoming more frequent and sophisticated, is this really the right approach?
The petition argued that social media can be a lifeline, support network and means of communication for young people. Yet much of the debate focused on the harms of social media and how restrictions could work in practice.
Privacy, data collection and cyber security implications deserved far more scrutiny.

2,800 troops from 11 nations will take part in Exercise Koalicja later this month, the first major exercise of the new Multinational Force Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defence says the force would only enter Ukraine after fighting ends and at the request of the Ukrainian government. It would not act as a peacekeeping force.
What role, if any, should the UK play in Ukraine's long-term security after the war?

Today I've submitted a policy proposal to the APPG for Crypto & Digital Assets on simplifying crypto asset taxation and supporting decentralised digital infrastructure in the UK.
The proposal focuses on reducing compliance burdens while maintaining effective tax collection and regulatory oversight.

Under current HMRC guidance, activities such as token swaps and other protocol interactions can create reporting obligations even when no money has been withdrawn to a bank account.
My proposal recommends a cash out based model, where taxation is primarily triggered when crypto assets are converted into GBP and realised.

The proposal also recommends a £1,000 annual allowance for decentralised infrastructure rewards from activities such as distributed storage, bandwidth sharing and node operation.
The goal is simple, improve compliance, reduce administrative complexity and support UK innovation.
