Ricky was a firefighter for 16 years before he attended the Grenfell Tower fire in 2017. After the disaster, he was diagnosed with PTSD.
Ricky is now one of our ambassadors – working to support our emergency responders and their mental health.

66% of the fire service, 70% of police offers and 76% of ambulance workers report struggling with their mental health.
