The @EFSA_EU has announced that its scientists cannot currently establish the safety of #CBD as a #novelfood.

The result of this finding is that novel food applications for CBD in #Europe will now also require #toxicology data. This brings the regulatory requirements of the #EU in line with those of the #UK.
#CBD businesses have until Thursday (26th) to submit evidence that their products are linked to a credible application and were on the market before February 2020
