I believe @MillennialWoes touched on something that's been brewing in my head for a long time. I think this needs a new word. There's disinformation, strategically shared false information. Has everyone lost the plot on the whole SNAP issue? If a disabled person is on SNAP, they SHOULD be allowed to buy lobster tail, or protein powder, or anything else that can sustain them. The point of SNAP is to help these people, not torture them by only allowing them to eat plain rice and drink only water. The point ISN'T to make them happy, but if the can be happy AND feed themselves, that's a lot better then people who are already in a shitty situation having to survive on gruel and be miserable every minute of the day. I know I screaming into the void here but I don't like what I'm seeing from people I thought had similar opinions to my own.
