L.A.G. (Long Ass Gifs) is a series of works from the early stages of my tool-building and experimentation.
Each Long Ass Gif starts with StyleGAN2-ADA models I’ve trained, run in Python, then passes through a series of video manipulation tools (Python scripts and web apps) I’ve built over the past year.
I think of it as a Genesis series for the new era of work and workflow I’ve been honing in on.
The series began as a way to test the limits of the GIF format. Working within its constraints made for a great challenge.
