Cuffing season is approaching, so here is my unsolicited advice for finding love.
1. Appreciate things as much as you can.
All the little things that typically go unnoticed in your day need to start receiving your love for life. A convenient green light, an extra-helpful service worker, a cute squirrel that lets you get just a little closer than usual. It is from your appreciation for life that the rest of your charisma will find its vigour.
2. Show and receive bids of affection graciously (and never stop).
You may find that this is easier earlier in a relationship, when you’re both “drunk on love,” but it is especially important when things aren’t going so well. If your date does something to upset you, communicate it and establish your boundaries, but please don’t hold it against them if they’re trying to show you that they’re sorry. Let things go. There is no love without forgiveness.
3. Learn each other’s love languages.
Your relationship is unique to you; learn how to express love in ways that make sense to your partner. Don’t compare yourself to other relationships, because what works for other people may not work for you and your partner. I believe the key to a successful long term relationship is rooted in a willingness to explore and refine a love language that only you and your partner would perfectly understand.
4. DO NOT BE AFRAID.
If you are attracted to someone, tell them. The worst thing that can happen is nothing. You never know how they’re feeling. This is honestly the easiest part, all things considered.
Good luck, have fun (important) and remember to communicate <3
I’m at a buffet and I just saw a kid load his plate with nothing but white rice and French fries. Someone keep a fuckin eye on him.
I often see communists on here talking about capitalism as if it were an evil that should never have existed.
You do understand that Marx viewed capitalism/industrialism as a necessary step toward transitioning to communism, right?
I mean, in order to own the means of production, the means of production have to exist in the first place…

Hey remember when progs were omnipresent on Twitter and massively overestimated their popularity and their ability to generate social consensus around ideas that sounded insane to normal people
thinking of that for no reason in particular
I don’t talk about this much, but I am very fond of America. I’ve always wanted to live in Texas, and I grew up on American media and culture (being Canadian is part of the reason, which is obvious).
I find MAGA repulsive because they have sullied America’s reputation on a global scale. The lasting damage cannot be understated. Even Canadians generally think poorly of America now. This makes me very sad. America is a beautiful place with awesome people and is one of the greatest countries on earth. It’s a damn shame what MAGA has done to America.
The GOP stole defeat from the jaws of victory omg 🔥🔥🔥 #malfoid #winningtheculturewar #anakindidnothingwrong
They engage in tabletop politics. I’m about as worried about them as I am about my chud friend who likes to play an evil wizard in his weekly D&D campaign.
I find it hard to believe that this is a case of not having social skills, as if it were something he couldn’t have picked up on at some point in his life. A basic greeting? Communicating what you’re looking for? Are we serious?
This is weaponized incompetence. He’s just being an asshole because he knows he can get away with it.

Democrat Dr. Amy Acton is elected governor of Ohio, defeating Republican Vivek Ramaswamy. apnews.com/live/midterm-elec…
Hi I am a tradcon woman that runs a group chat on Facebook with all the moms in the neighbourhood. We were going to vote republican but then we remembered we are women so we shouldn’t vote. Our husbands agreed because Matt Walsh said so. What did we do wrong?
I was told that because Anakin Skywalker was teaming up with Malfoid to restore the glory of the Empire that means the tides have turned in the culture war or something. What happened?
My love for her has shaped me into who I am today. I wouldn’t be the same person without her, and the compromises and sacrifices I have made (and am still willing to make) include pieces of me I will never get back. If I were to lose her, I imagine the grief would change me as well. I could go on without her, but it wouldn’t be the same me doing it. Is this terrifying? Yeah, probably, because I don’t enjoy thinking about it. Still, I trust myself to love deeply and to manage the grief that comes with it. Fuck it we ball right?
