10 minutes a day is totally fine.
Keep it light, but stay focused.
On days when you’re not feeling it,
just “moving your hand once” is more than enough👌
【Motif Tip】🎨✨
Today’s motif is “a person taking a shower”🚿✨
It’s an everyday action, but it’s packed with poses we rarely get to draw—raising the arms, tilting the face upward, and so on.
Perfect practice for observing how the human body moves.
When the arms go high, the shoulders shift, the neck stretches, the torso leans back slightly—the whole body works together.
Don’t think “only the arms are moving.”
Observe the flow of the entire body.
Comparing the position of the shower head with the arms also makes it easier to capture the overall balance of the pose.
This time, pay special attention to the direction of the face and head.
When the face tilts upward, the relationships between the eyes, nose, and mouth change dramatically from the usual.
Instead of drawing the facial features first, start by seeing the whole head as a sphere and being conscious of “which way it’s facing.”
That makes natural angles much easier to express.
Water droplets or wet hair?
Add them at the very end only if you have time left.
First, carefully observe the body’s movement and the head’s direction, enjoy the new discoveries, and then draw.
Have fun drawing today too✊🎨✨
