Former MARSOC Marine Raider MSgt. Cody Alford packed an extraordinary amount into a 15 year Marine Corps career. Cody was a Texas kid who chased a single dream, to become a Marine Corps scout sniper. He enlisted at 17 and got his wish, cutting his teeth in the early Iraq war, including the brutal house to house fighting of Fallujah, some of the bloodiest combat Marines faced in modern times. From there he climbed the hardest ladder the Corps offers. He earned his place in Force Recon, and when the Marine Corps stood up MARSOC in 2006, Alford became a Marine Raider in the earliest days of the command. Deploying to Afghanistan around 2007 as part of a brand new outfit that the established special operations units hadn't yet accepted was a challenge. The unit linked up with SEALs and Green Berets down range and had to prove, mission by mission, that the Raiders belonged. Multiple combat tours across Iraq and Afghanistan as a sniper, reconnaissance man, and Marine Raider, and he rose to Master Sergeant faster than anyone in Marine Corps history. That's impressive by any standard. Respect. youtu.be/n029kIfFYEw?si=iuX4… via @YouTube

Well, that was unexpected. Kid Rock won over Bill Maher’s audience with an epic monologue about the degradation of the modern-day Democrat Party and how progressive politics are teaching kids to hate America. The moment the audience heard his final line, they erupted into applause. ROCK: “A Democrat’s never scared me being in office until just recently when all this crazy stuff has popped up.” “I think Bill Clinton loves the country. I believed Obama loved our country.” “Now these whack jobs are coming in here and I’m like, wait a minute… even if they don’t hate the country as a whole they hate a big portion of it, and they’re spewing this.” “And I believe our teachers have been a big problem, you know indoctrinating these kids for a long time now.” “We’re starting to see the fruition, they’re starting to raise up, I’m a victim and everything’s bad and America is just a big racist piece of sh*t country.” “Bad, bad America and we’re not celebrating what makes us great, which all of us being different and being together.” “Being the greatest country in the world!” It’s pretty seldom that a Republican gets cheers and applause from a liberal crowd with such an unapologetically patriotic message. This was a great moment.

A Coffee Toast in Memory of our Brother, Senior Chief Petty Officer(SEAL) Chad Michael Wilkinson. Lest we Forget. On October 29, 2018, Chad took his life. While approaching his 21st year active duty and experiencing multiple combat deployments, his body and his mind had taken too much. Following his death, his family donated his brain to science and would later learn he suffered from interface astroglial scarring. This scarring is similar to the more readily heard chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). However, interface astroglial scarring is specific to our veterans in that it doesn’t necessarily occur with physical contact or trauma but rather blast waves they are exposed to in both training and combat. This scarring is makes its way into our military due to excessive exposure to blast wave injury experienced in both training and combat. LLTB. Goat Locker.
