We want to share an update on Boosted deposits:
Boost deposits will see a ~6.4% drawdown. This is due to Lulo's exposure to Neutrl Finance on Ethereum, a synthetic dollar protocol used in Boost’s yield strategy. The impact is isolated to Boost, which by design underwrites risk for Protected depositors. Protected capital is unaffected.
Neutrl lost money on positions in its strategy, impairing its reserve liquidity. It has since opened redemptions at ~51 cents per NUSD, so holders recover roughly half. This was not a hack or smart contract exploit.
We know this may be the first you’re hearing of Neutrl. We’re committed to transparency about Boost’s yield sources and how they hold up under stress. We’ll share more as this develops.
